Reid Me A Love Story (Spencer Reid)

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH.

Oh god, it's 1:30 in the morning and I have no idea how to do this. Prepare for lots of post-story authorial ramblings.

My name's Charlotte, and I started writing this story in middle school. Though it's a rather quick and easy read this fanfic took months of labor and love to produce; it's one of only four or five projects I've ever finished. I haven't been active on Wattpad in over two years, but I still have the app on my phone and I get notifications for this story every single day. That means the world to me, guys. It was never intended to be this big. I remember texting my boyfriend (now best friend) and being stoked over my first thousand reads on it.

Like I said, this story was started in seventh or eighth grade, and I'm just about to graduate high school and move on to college. Lots has changed; I'm not even that into Criminal Minds anymore, truth be told. (Spencer, I think, I will always be into lol.) The one constant in the past few years though has been my adoration of writing, and next year I'm studying English with minors in secondary education and creative writing. It's been a dream of mine to teach since I was little.

I'm not really sure why I'm doing this? There's no way of knowing how many old readers will see it, but I just wanted to say thank you to anyone and everyone who made it through the whole thing. I just re-read it in a single sitting and while it's rough as all hell (I want to punch my 14 year old self in the face for not editing), going through and reading everyone's comments made me feel the happiest I have in a long time. I'm going to, for all intensive purposes, deactivate my profile - remove my bio, profile picture, the whole theatrical nine yards. But you guys inspired me to not delete, so that other people can enjoy this dorky little story too. I guess this is my official goodbye to Wattpad, and a final thanks to all of you. 💙
