NOW PLAYING...
GREY GOOSE - INSTRUMENTAL DEMO by NIRVANA"The sun's about to set," Joseph said, prompting Jotato to begin shaking you awake after you had drifted off from boredom.
You blinked as you rubbed your face. "Feels longer than three hours... Did that beggar ever find Dio's mansion?"
"Too cocky for his own good," Polnareff grumbled.
"A part of me believes he did find Dio's mansion," Avdol chimed in, "and that's why he hasn't returned."
"There's no doubt in my mind it's guarded," you added. "It's not out of the realm of possibility that it's a Stand user, too."
"We may have put that beggar's life in grave danger."

The night came and went, so once more, your group ventured into the streets.
"So," you spoke to break the silence, "admit I was right."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Polnareff questioned.
"That we should be worried about Iggy. I mean, he's still gone."
"I will do no such thing!" Polnareff crossed his arms and looked away from you like a toddler. "But yeah, he has to stop doing this."
Jotaro stopped and turned. So, everyone else followed suit.
"Is someone following us?" Avdol inquired.
"No, I thought I heard a voice... like someone was calling us," Jotaro answered.
You were about to say something, but then out came Iggy, limping from out of the alley. He was now without a left front leg and was badly bruised. He couldn't seem to see out of his right eye, either. You covered your agape mouth. Polnareff beat you to the punch, being the first to run toward the dog. You quickly did the same, then Avdol, Joseph, and Jotaro.
"Oh, you poor thing..." You got down on your knees and opened out your arms so that he could get a break from walking and standing. "What do you think? Car accident? Maybe the driver felt bad and patched him up. That would explain the bandages."
"No," Avdol responded. "He's not the kind of dog that gets into those kinds of things." He bent down beside you to look at Iggy. "You were attacked, weren't you, Iggy?"
You stood up, cradling the dog to not hurt him any more than he already was. "Jotaro, do you think--"
"--No. The voice was a human, not a dog whimper," he answered.
Footsteps--Someone was approaching. "It appears Iggy had a run-in with the enemy." The voice was familiar. You looked up. "We saw a little boy holding him half-dead. The doctors from the Speedwagon Foundation tended to his wounds. Just like my eyes."
Kakyoin.
Everyone rushed to greet him, but you took your time to not shake up Iggy more than he already was. "Were they able to treat you?" was what you were able to catch by the time you did regroup.
"Yes," Kakyoin responded. "I'm fine now. I've got a few scars, but my eyesight is back to normal."
"Thank goodness," responded Joseph.
Kakyoin then shook hands with Jotaro, before looking over at you. "It's good to see you two again."
"I share the sentiment," you replied. As you were about to continue the conversation, Iggy jumped from your arms, almost like he hadn't been injured at all. "Don't you think you should stay by us for a bit?"
"It looks like he's trying to lead us somewhere."
You exhaled. "What kind of Stand did he go up against if he's trying to help us now?" Without much hesitation, you began to follow the dog. Then Joseph, then Kakyoin, then everyone else. A tow truck drove past. Behind it, the same car as the beggar you had met.
"What did this?" Polnareff questioned. "It's like a gigantic pillar tore through the windshield..."
"There's little doubt that this is the work of the Stand user Iggy encountered," Avdol spoke. "I fear that the worst-case scenario has become reality."
Yet, you continued to follow the dog and were promptly punished for it by the air becoming thick and oppressive, causing you to sweat and shake.
I feel... a sense of doom... What is this?
"He's here." You stopped and turned. There was (Y/N), the original. She was only inches away from you. She wasn't smiling, she wasn't frowning, she was just... there, just as her words were simply just... said. "Smart dog."
"The calm before the storm is over, isn't it?"
"Yes."
You paused. "Okay."
"This is your destiny. Be not afraid."
"It's very hard to calm my nerves when there's a strong likelihood of death."
"Would that be such a bad thing?"
"When I would rather have Dio dead? Yeah."
"Hm. Suit yourself." She walked to the side of the street. There was a vacant seat. She sat in, crossed her legs, and put her hands on her lap. "You know, it's been fifty days since you were last in Japan."
"I'm aware..." You walked away from the group to the side of the street.
"Things will be different when you do return."
"There's not a doubt in my mind that'll be the case."
"Good, good..." She opened her hand to the side. A teacup appeared. She took a sip. "From me to your grandmother, and now you..." She lit a finger on her other hand and warmed up the tea before taking another sip. "I tried my best to keep my son out of all this drama, as my granddaughter did for hers. Will you do the same for yours?"
"If I have one."
"Excellent." She took another sip. "Dio needs to die. Everything will be over once he is gone. It's the cruel justice he deserves. You're the Morning Star, and you're hand will be the universe finally giving him his due karma."
"Drei," Jotaro called. You turned to him, then back at the (Y/N). She was gone. You returned to your group. "Are you ready?"
You took his hand in yours. He squeezed it tight. "He can probably sense us."
"No doubt," Joseph responded.
"You think he set a trap for us?"
"I wouldn't be surprised."
"So what do we do now?"
The door opened on its own as if to answer your question. You and the group approached the door, cautiously to not disturb anything that could cause immediate harm. An empty corridor was exposed. Then, a man. He came floating with a serious expression.
He gave a bow. "Welcome. Master Joestar, we've been expecting you. I am the butler of this house."
