Gemma would have said that her and Rudy were sitting in silence inside of the truck as they waited, but the truth was the music was playing loudly through the speakers. Cesar would occasionally sing, and although Gemma found it amusing she decided it was best not to laugh.

Laughing would probably make him angry.

"This is why I don't let anyone drive the Taco!" Cesar exclaimed as he continued to inspect the inside of his truck for anymore damages.

Gemma knew that although Jaime had been the one driving the truck who Cesar was really mad at was Jenny and Gemma. He had every right to be of course, they were the reason all of this was happening.

"I'm really impressed by your device Cesar." Gemma said honestly hoping that she could ease some of the tension.

"Of course you are I'm a genius." He replied confidently.

"If you're ever looking for a new job Ivo Tech has a couple of openings." She continued incredibly aware that Cesar could very well laugh in her face. He had made it incredibly clear that he hated large companies like Ivo Tech, Kord Industries and Wayne Enterprises.

But the truth was that Ivo Tech mainly consisted of doctors, technicians and developers that had all been hired by her father. Gemma wanted people that she had chosen and saw potential in. Even Thomas had been someone that was hired by her father, it didn't matter if he was her friend now.

"You can call me Rudy." He said dismissively, but Gemma couldn't help but smile. She was aware that she was a people pleaser, she naturally wanted people to like her and there was something satisfying in getting on Rudy's good side. "I'll think about it. This job it would pay well?"

"Very." Gemma replied simply.

Once again they became silent, though this time it wasn't as uncomfortable as before.

"Where are they?" Rudy questioned as he looked down at his watch. Although Gemma hadn't voiced her concerns she had also noticed that they were taking longer than they had anticipated. "El Chapulin can only block their signal for half an hour. They have five minutes."
