After what happened with Thomas Ivo Tech had once again found itself in shambles. Considering all the negative press that they already had from her father, it was irritating to say the least that now there was so much negative press around the company again. Gemma had only been back for three days and yet it felt like she hadn't even made a dent in the long list of things she needed to get done.

Considering her lab and office were on different floor, Gemma had some of things in her lab moved into her office. Unfortunately, she still wasn't able to move back and forth as easily yet. Attempting it would only cause her to get tired more quickly.

Using her finger Gemma wrote out the calculations she had been going over all morning on the screen. She heard the door to her office open and was surprised to find Jaime stepping inside. It wasn't the fact that he was there that shocked her, it was the realization that it was already noon. Time had slipped by so quickly that it was almost frustrating.

"Lunch time." He said as he placed the bag of food on her desk before walking across the room to her. Gemma had gone back to going over the calculations hoping that she could squeeze in one last attempt before sitting down and eating lunch. Before she could even attempt to focus Jaime

Gemma expected it to be a quick greeting kiss, but was surprised when he pulled her closer and deepened it. Normally Jaime didn't tend to do anything this bold while she was a work. He was kissing her in a way that was leaving her entirely breathless, it made it almost a little too easy to forget that she was at work.

"What are you doing?" She questioned as she pulled away slightly, a little suspicious about what he was doing. Not that she minded the kiss, she had seen him in the morning while getting ready but found that she had missed him. It was a little annoying how easy it was for her so slip back into a place where she almost felt dependent on Jaime. Like her day wasn't entirely complete unless she got to see him.

"Trying to distract you." He replied as he placed another quick kiss on her lips. "Is it working?"

Gemma's eyes wondered back to the board as she considered his words. "No."
