Fingers ran through her hair, bringing her into consciousness. Y/N awoke, feeling the up and down of her husband's chest. She smiled, opening her eyes to look up at him, "Good morning."
"Morning, sleepyhead," He smiled back, pulling her closer to plant a kiss on her lips, "You slept in."
"We said when it was all over, we could have more moments like these," She replied, pulling him again, "I'm quite enjoying it."
"Well these types of luxuries were always offered," He chuckled, "When you side with Hydra."
Y/N furrowed her eyebrows, as she blinked hard. She was no longer in bed, she was back in the plane, covered in blood. She hovered over Victoria Hand's body, screaming, but nothing was coming out. Looking behind her she saw her husband once again, he was smiling.
"You're a psychopath!" She yelled, trying to run away, but she couldn't move.
He shrugged slightly, "You married me." Ward pulled out his gun, pointing it at her, "Till death do us part?"
Y/N closed her eyes waiting for it to hit, but it didn't.
"What do you mean by that, Skye?" Ward spoke.
Y/N opened her eyes, falling into consciousness. It was all a dream. She tried to focus on her surroundings and make out voices. The only she could still hear was that of Grant Ward.
"Makes sense, Agent Hand picked up some Navy jets in the vicinity." Ward continued on the phone, "She had us taking the long route to the Fridge just to be safe." There was a slight pause, assumingly Skye talking on the other line, "Oh, it's not the first time my identity has been compromised. Any idea where Coulson has us headed?" Another pause, "I'll pass the message on to Y/N, yes, she's somewhere on the plane with Agent Hand. Between you and me, I don't think she wants to be around Garrett." He laughed slightly, "You too."
"Doesn't want to be around me?" Garrett chimed in, "Damn."
"It's not a lie," Ward quipped, "I mean after everything you did to her?"
Garrett scoffed, "Oh c'mon, you're not still upset about all of that?"
"I told you through all of this, who I wanted to keep safe," He reminded his SO, "I even ended things because you thought she was getting too close, and I was worried you were going to hurt her."
"It's not my fault you went back to her..." Garrett chuckled, "She was getting too close once again. But now what does it matter? She found out, she's right here. You won't let me kill her."
"Don't play games with me," Grant snarked back, "This isn't a joke."
"You don't have to tell me," Garrett replied, "Y/N was always the top of her class. Even if she didn't accompany us yesterday, you know damn well she would've figured it out soon enough." He looked at his kid, "Listen if the job were easy."
"The job was to blend in... Gather intel on Coulson's revival," He corrected, "You said yourself, you didn't want any bloodshed."
Y/N tried to move, wincing, realizing her wrists and ankles were cuffed to the chair. Her movement didn't go unnoticed. She lifted her head, despite how heavy it felt, seeing the two figures hovering over her, "Just...kill me."
"Y/N," Ward answered softly, putting a hand on her leg.
She tried to move away from his grasp, but the cuffs prevented her. Y/N shook her head looking away from him, not giving him a simple glance, "Just kill me. I found out. I'm not joining Hydra, so just kill me."
