"Miss Kang, your fantasy romance movie has been amassing a lot of attention. You said in a previous interview that this movie was way out of your comfort zone, would you like to elaborate?" The interviewer sitting opposite to Yeseul asks her.
Yeseul fixed her stance as she prepared to answer the question. "Yes, fantasy isn't my expertise actually, however I found myself willing to venture a path that I am unfamiliar with and it just so happens fantasy is one of those. As for the romance, can it really be a movie of mine without that as a sub genre?"
"You do have a beautiful take in love, Miss Yeseul." The interviewer smiles in acknowledgement. "Speaking of love, one of your main actors in this film, Ahn Jihee, has been causing an uproar with her love life. You guys are good friends, right? Do you have anything to say about that?"
"Yes, Jihee and I went to the same high school so we go way back. As for her love life, I believe you'd find it less interesting as the media makes it seem." Yeseul winks all while she tries to sound as casual as she could. Being asked about her actors' love lives wasn't at all new to her.
"Ahn Jihee was recently spotted with the newly divorced Park Sunghoon, I don't think a connection like that can be considered not interesting, Miss Yeseul."
Yeseul could not stop the snort that came after the sentence. The abrupt sound she made prompts her to look at her assistant who shook her head in disappointment at the realization that the film director had once again exposed one of her actors. Yeseul knew Jihee wouldn't mind but her assistant has always made it clear that accidentally exposing her actor's relationships would do more harm than good.
"Oh? Seems you know something about the rumored couple, Miss Yeseul." The interview's scrutinizing eyes dug into Yeseul's.
Yeseul coughs. "Since I have unconsciously reacted, I guess it would only be appropriate I clear those ehem humorous rumors. Those two are far from what the news suggests, I assure you."
"Ah I apologize then for believing the news. It seems their relationship is a product of misinterpretation." The interview chuckles before swiftly changing the topic. "As we are already speaking about relationships, how about we talk about your own? You recently got married, am I correct?"
The film director's eyes shone at the mention of her recent marriage with the love of her life. This simple brought up prompts her to look at the ring that now sits in her ring finger.
