"I got in," Max said out of shock as he stared down at the piece of mail in his hand, Violet walking up behind him and wrapping her arms around his waist, kissing the back of his neck. "Congratulations babe," she told him as he turned around, raising an eyebrow. "All my dreams are finally coming true," he replied as Violet kissed his lips, running her hands in his hair. Max pulled back and looked at the piece of paper, a smile spreading out across his face. It was finally happening. He was going to be a firefighter. "When do you go to the academy?" Violet asked as she ran her hand down his back, Max shrugging. "It doesn't say" "Violet!" yelled Matt from downstairs, Violet sighing. "Yeah?!" she yelled back opening her bedroom door, boxes lined up at the top of the stairs. "Are you ready?" Matt asked, Violet looking at him from down the stairs, nodding her head.
"Violet," said Olivia as she ran up the stairs, giving her a big hug. "Do you have to go?" Olivia asked as a tear slid down her cheek, Violet hugging her tighter. "Liv, we both knew this would happen at some point" "I wasn't thinking this soon," Olivia replied back, Violet shrugging. "You know I'll always be around right?" Olivia looked at Violet unsure of what to say. "Promise?" she asked holding out her pinky finger, Violet rolling her eyes. "You're just like your father you know that right," Violet told her as she slid her finger into Olivia's, shaking their hands. "I heard that," Matt said from downstairs, both girls giggling. "Is Max still here?" Olivia asked as Max walked out of the room, showing Olivia the letter. "You got in?!" Olivia read, Max nodding his head. "I hope I get to work alongside of your dad and my brother" "Uncle Kelly?" Olivia asked, Max nodding. "Oh, good luck with that," Olivia chuckled as she walked back down the stairs, Violet laughing. "How old is she again?" Max asked, Violet wrapping her arms around Max, Max snuggling her close. "She's ten" "She acts as if she's already fully grown" "I know. She gets that from her mother," Violet replied as she pulled away from Max, picking up a box. "Are we really doing this?" Violet asked as they walked down the stairs carrying her things. "Of course. It's already obvious I want to spend the rest of my life with you" "Maxwell Duarté, are you trying to propose to me?" Max looked at her as they reached the bottom of the stairs, shaking his head. "I will, soon enough," Max replied kissing her lips, Gabby walking into the room drying off her hands. "Are you ready to go?" Gabby asked smiling, Violet breaking away from Max, nodding her head. "Yeah, I'm scared," Violet said, Max rubbing her back. "Don't be. I remember how I was when I moved in with your uncle. At first I was terrified, but everything turned out just as I imagined it," Gabby replied smiling, Violet staring at her aunt. "How did you imagine it?" she asked. "Perfect"

"Mom," said Alexa as she walked into her parents bedroom, Peyton hot on her heels. Sylvie yawned as she sat up in bed, looking over to Kelly before slapping his back, Kelly's head popping up off of the pillow. "What?" he mumbled, Alexa sighing. "Peyton hid my curling iron" "I did not! She's lying," Peyton said as he climbed into the bed, giving Sylvie a hug. "You've done it so many times! You're such a pest," Alexa exclaimed, Kelly now sitting up. "Excuse me young lady. One, your brother is not a pest, and two. You're beautiful without a curling iron" "Dad, I hate my hair" "Well I love it. If Peyton did hide it, he did you a favor," Kelly replied, Sylvie looking at Kelly with her eyes wide. "Ugh," Alexa said as she walked out of the room, Kelly rolling his eyes. "What happened to the sweet little girl that didn't care how she looked?" Kelly asked. "She grew up," Sylvie replied getting out of bed, Kelly stretching his arms. "Hey dad," Peyton said as he hugged Kelly, Kelly smiling. "Hey buddy" "Why do you always sleep with your shirt off?" Peyton asked, Kelly looking to Sylvie and chuckling. "Your mommy likes me this way," he replied, Sylvie throwing a pillow at him, Kelly smirking. "When can I start sleeping with my shirt off?" Kelly looked into his sons eyes and sighed. "We'll talk about that later," Kelly replied ruffling Peyton's hair, climbing out of bed. "Right now mommy and I have to get ready for work," Kelly said as he gently scooted Peyton towards the door, Peyton sighing. "So I have to go to school?" Kelly looked at his son and laughed. "Of course. You want to be a firefighter right?" Peyton nodded his head quickly, a smile appearing on his face. "I better go to school anyways. Liv will kill me if I don't show up," Peyton said leaving the room, closing the door behind him. "So now I like you without a shirt?" Sylvie asked walking over to Kelly and wrapping her arms around his neck, Kelly shrugging. "I guess you do," he replied kissing her, many minutes passing by before they were interrupted with loud knocking on the door.
"Mom, dad, hurry up!" Alexa exclaimed. "We're coming! Go make you and your brother breakfast," Kelly said, Alexa sighing before walking away, Kelly exhaling air. "That girls gonna be the death of me," he said, Sylvie laughing before handing Kelly his t-shirt. "You, are going to be the death of me," Sylvie said pecking his lips before opening their door and leaving the room, Kelly throwing on his t-shirt before grabbing his duffel bag, meeting everyone in the kitchen. "You guys can still catch the school bus right?" Kelly asked, Alexa shaking her head. "Don't you see the time?" she asked pointing to the clock, Kelly closing his eyes. "Crap," he replied as he walked to the front door. "Everyone in the Camaro," he ordered, Alexa and Peyton grabbing their backpacks before walking out the front door, Sylvie following right after them. "Hey dad? When can we get a dog?" Peyton asked as the walked past their neighbor, Kelly chuckling. "Uh, never," he replied, Peyton whining as he got into the car, Alexa getting in next to him. "Will you quit your whining? You're giving me a headache" "What's wrong with you? Are you on your period?" Peyton asked taunting Alexa. "Peyton!" Kelly exclaimed as he stared at them in the rearview mirror, Peyton laughing. "Do you though honey?" Kelly then asked, Alexa grunting out of frustration. "Ew dad, no," she replied as Kelly drove away, Peyton sticking his tongue out at her. "Dad, I swear if he doesn't stop sticking his tongue out at me I'm gonna cut it off with scissors" "Peyton knock it off," Sylvie said turning around in the passenger seat, Peyton quickly putting his tongue back in his mouth. "Sorry mommy," Peyton said hanging his head in shame as they pulled up to the school, Alexa quickly getting out and walking away. "I love you too," Kelly mumbled under his breath as he watched Alexa enter the doors of the school, Peyton leaning over and kissing Kelly and Sylvie both on the cheek. "Bye guys. I love you," he said as he got out of the car walking away. "We love you too," Sylvie replied, Kelly driving away from the school. "Why does he only listen to you?" Kelly asked as they headed towards the firehouse, Sylvie shrugging. "I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm actually serious," Sylvie replied, Kelly chuckling. "Whatever happened to power of the father?" Kelly asked, Sylvie chucking. "Obviously that's not how it works with our case," Sylvie replied, Kelly sighing. "Momster," he said in a flirty tone, Sylvie playfully punching his shoulder. "I'll get you back for saying that" "I'd like to see you try"
