Alexa walked up the driveway to the firehouse, Cruz and Mills greeting her out front. "Hey Alexa, shouldn't you be in school?" Mills asked crossing his arms, Alexa rolling her eyes. "I was wondering the same about you," Alexa replied, Cruz laughing. "Ouch, that burned. Do you need an ice pack?" Cruz asked cracking up, Alexa sighing and walking past them, meeting Kelly on the apparatus floor. "Hey dad," Alexa said walking up to him and giving him a hug. Kelly looked down at his daughters head and kissed it. "What's up kiddo. Shouldn't you be in school?" "It was a half day at school dad" "Oh that's right. Did you walk all the way here from school?" Kelly asked as he picked up the chainsaw, putting on goggles and starting it up, testing out the reaction time. Alexa shook her head and crossed her arms. "I got a ride" "Oh yeah, from who?" Kelly asked turning off the chainsaw, waiting for an answer. Alexa nervously started swaying back and forth, biting her lip. "Out with it," Kelly ordered, Alexa sighing. "I got a ride with Marcus" Kelly turned back on the chainsaw, this time turning up the speed. "Alexa, I'm warning you this right now. If that boy ever sets a hand, or even just a finger on you, his hand will meet my chainsaw..."
"Liv, come here," Gabby said, noticing her daughter was acting a bit strange. Olivia looked up from the TV and smiled, quickly standing up and walking over to Gabby. "What's up mom?" "It's not what's up with me. What's up with you?" Gabby asked crossing her arms, Olivia shrugging. "I haven't seen you this happy since Christmas morning" Olivia looked around and grabbed her mothers hand, leading her into the common room, gently shutting the door. "Do you swear not to tell dad anything I'm about to tell you?" Olivia asked, Gabby sitting down and taking a sip of her coffee. "I swear," Gabby replied. "Okay well..." Olivia said looking around, making sure nobody could hear her. "Peyton kissed me" When Gabby heard this she almost spit out her coffee, setting the mug on the table. "He what now?" Gabby asked shaking her head, Olivia sighing. "Peyton kissed me" "When did this happen?" Olivia sat down on a chair and stared at Gabby, suddenly smiling. "When I banged my head in the back of the ambo, he happened to be there and he was the one that wrapped my head in a bandage. Next thing I know I'm laying on the stretcher and he was kissing me" Gabby stared at her daughter in disbelief, her cheeks glowing red. "Are you mad?" Olivia asked noticing, Gabby placing her hands on her hips. "Do you have feelings for him?" Olivia looked at her mom confused. "What're feelings?" Olivia asked, Gabby staring at her shocked. "Didn't your father and I ever teach you what love feels like?" "Yeah, you show it to me everyday. Is that a feeling?" Gabby nodded and smiled, realizing she almost had the whole parenting thing down pat. "Is that how you feel about Peyton?" "Yeah, I guess. When I even hear his name, my cheeks get toasty," Olivia replied touching her cheeks, them turning a bright red. "Well, it looks like my little girl has a crush. I guess you aren't so little anymore" Olivia nodded and stood up, walking over to Gabby and gave her a hug. "Thanks mom. You promise you won't tell dad about this?" Olivia asked, Gabby shrugging. "I can't promise that sweet heart but when I do tell him, I'll make sure he's in a good mood" "Mom, he's probably gonna freak out and die of a heart attack" "Oh baby no need to exaggerate. Are you sure you'll be okay going to his house for tonight? I don't want anything to happen," Gabby said, Olivia hugging her mother even tighter. "Nothing bad will happen, I promise"
"Matt, can I borrow you for a second?" Gabby asked as she stood by the table in the kitchen, Matt looking up from his bowl of cereal and nodding. "Yeah, sure," he said raising out of his chair, walking with Gabby to his office, Gabby closing the door and drawing the blinds. "What're you doing?" Matt asked curiously as he sat on his couch, Gabby sitting on his lap. "It looked like you were having a lot of fun out there, but I thought we can do something better," Gabby said winking and softly kissing his lips, Matt moaning. "Gabby..." he said between kisses, Gabby pulling back and staring into his eyes, running her hand through his hair. "What's going on?" he asked, Gabby shrugging. "Why can't I just love on my husband?" "Gabby..." "Matt..." she replied kissing his lips, Matt letting her. "Don't say another word"
