"How, how long have you been pregnant?" Max stammered, Violet smiling. "You know our engagement night?" "How could I forget about that?" Max asked as he smiled back at her, Violet blushing. "Well, since then." Max pulled Violet close and kissed the top of her head just as Matt walked into the coat room, hanging up his jacket. "Oh sorry, am I interrupting something?" he asked, Max looking at him and smiling. "No not at all" "Actually, I was just leaving," Violet replied as she fixed her purse strap, Matt looking at her and shrugging. "Why the rush? Cruz just finished cooking up some grub" "Yeah that gives me more of a reason to leave," Violet laughed, Max smirking. "Take me with you," he begged getting on one knee, Violet leaning down and kissing him, slowly walking away. "I'll be back for you later," she told him as she turned around and walked to the car. Matt watched as Max watched her leave, his eyes flashing with love. "You really love her don't you?" Matt asked, Max nodding. "More than life itself," Max replied, Matt wrapping his arm around Max, taking his fist and ruffling his hair. "I'm glad that if any guy could date my niece, it'd be you," Matt told him as they walked inside, Gabby sitting on the couch just as Sylvie walked up to her, crossing her arms. Gabby looked up at Sylvie and nervously smiled, sitting back on the couch. "You wanna tell me something?" Sylvie asked, Gabby shrugging. "What's there to tell?" "Oh you know-" "Hello?" Gabby asked as she answered her phone, holding up a finger at Sylvie. "Hi Mrs. Casey. We're calling about your daughter, Olivia Casey" "Oh great what did she do now?! Is everything okay?" Gabby asked as Matt walked over, Gabby rolling her eyes. Gabby looked Matt in the eyes and mouthed, 'Our daughter... She's dead', pretending to slit her throat. "Okay thank you Mr. Freedman," Gabby said as she hanged up the phone, everyone surrounding her. "What happened?" Matt asked as he crossed his arms, Gabby standing up and glaring at him. "That was the principal. She's got your temper Matt. It's settled," Gabby replied as she grabbed Sylvie's arm and pulled her out to the ambo, Gabby starting up the engine, Sylvie buckling her seatbelt. "What's going on?" "Olivia supposably slammed her hand full of mud onto Marcus' face, starting a huge fight," Gabby mumbled, Sylvie sighing. "I hope my kids had nothing to do with it. If they did, they're done for."
"Oh look! It looks like your mommies are here!" Marcus exclaimed as the ambo pulled up to the front of the school, a crowd of kids piling around. "Oh great," Alexa mumbled as Sylvie hopped down from the ambo, marching right over. "Anyone care to tell me what happened here?!" Sylvie yelled, Peyton looking at Olivia and stepping forward, looking into Sylvie's eyes. "I did it" "Peyton no..." "I was being stupid and I dared Liv to smack mud onto Marcus' face" "No mom he's lying I did it," Alexa said, Olivia shaking her head. "No I did it," Olivia replied, Gabby crossing her arms. "I felt bad that Alexa was left alone and out of anger, I struck with revenge." Gabby looked at Sylvie and sighed, Sylvie nodding her head. "I see what's going on here..." Gabby said, Olivia gulping. "You guys are all saying you did it so we won't find out who it was" "They're doing Spartacus," Sylvie replied, the principal sighing. "I don't care who did it. I just want someone to apologize to Marcus for their behavior" "Marcus!" Jay yelled as he ran over, Erin right behind him. "What were you thinking?! What happened?" Erin asked as she ran her hand through Marcus' hair, Marcus backing away. "It's fine, don't worry about it. We were all just playing around" "Playing around my..." "Alexa!" Sylvie yelled, Alexa crossing her arms. "Excuse me," she said as she walked past everyone, hopping into the back of the ambo, slamming the doors behind her. "Somebody apologize right now!" Gabby then yelled losing her temper, Olivia walking over and looking Marcus in the eyes, Marcus smirking. "Listen, even though you're a jerk, I'm sorry" "That wasn't sincere," Marcus said as Olivia walked to the ambo, Peyton sighing and looking at Marcus, gritting his teeth. "Stay away from her, you hear me?" Peyton asked, Marcus rolling his eyes. "Whatever... Peepee," he replied, Peyton closing his eyes shut, turning and looking at Sylvie before glaring back at Marcus. "That's it, I'm losing it!" Peyton yelled as he lunged towards Marcus, Jay jumping in front of him. "Call me that name again, I dare you!" Peyton yelled, Jay grabbing Peyton's arms. "Marcus, knock it off!" Jay shouted, Marcus shrugging. "What! It's not my fault he has anger issues just like his father!" Marcus yelled, Peyton getting out of Jays wrist hold, running over to Marcus and punching his eye, Gabby and Sylvie running over, getting Peyton off of Marcus. "Stay away from my sister!" Peyton yelled as Sylvie dragged him to the ambo, Gabby handing Marcus a piece of gauze and ice. "It wasn't right what you said kid" "I'll handle it Gabby don't worry about it," Jay snapped as he tugged his son to get him off the ground, Marcus leaning against Erin as she led him to the car, Gabby and Jay watching them leave. "He really has your mouth" "Haha no need to remind me," Jay replied as he laughed with Gabby, Olivia watching them from the ambo window. She watched as Jay gave Gabby a hug and walked away, Gabby walking over and hopping in, giving Olivia the stink eye. "I know it was you," Gabby said, Olivia sighing. "How'd you know?" "You're just like your father. You play with your hands when you know you did something wrong," Gabby replied staring down at Olivia's hands, Olivia giving a weak smile. "Oops," she said as Sylvie walked to the passengers side, swinging open the door. "Out," Sylvie said, Olivia sighing as she hopped down and walked to the back, climbing aboard. "By the way, you're all being put on cleaning duty when we get back to the house" "What no?! Mom, the bathroom looks like a war zone after Cruz cooks his tacos!" Peyton exclaimed through the little talk window, Sylvie laughing. "Well you should've thought about that before slamming your fist in somebody's face. If you're going to use your hands, use them for something good," Sylvie told him as Peyton angrily kicked the gurney, holding his foot. "Moron," Alexa mumbled as she pulled out her phone, Peyton walking over and smacking the phone out of her hand, Alexa staring at him in disbelief. "I'm the moron? We wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for you!" Peyton yelled, Olivia sitting back against the wall, watching their argument. "Peyton, do you want me to tell Liv a secret you've been hiding from her?" "What secret?! The secret that I like her? She already knows that and we established that so would you just shut up? Both dad and I knew Marcus would be trouble, but you were too dumb enough to not listen" "Am I really being talked down to by a ten year old?" "It doesn't matter about age... It matters about common sense" "Now you're starting to sound like dad," Alexa sighed, Peyton backing away and sitting on the gurney, clenching his fist. "What happened to you? What made you this way?" Peyton questioned, Alexa standing up. "You wanna know why I'm the way I am today? It's because of you Peyton. You didn't change my life for the better. You changed my life for the worse."
*After Shift*
"Cmon Herrmann what's with the hold up? I ordered another beer!" Kelly exclaimed as he sat in Molly's, Herrmann walking over and filling Kelly's glass, looking at him worried. "You okay there Severide?" Herrmann asked as Kelly gulped down the beer, Kelly shrugging. "Yeah why?" he asked, Herrmann shaking his head. "It just seems to me like you're returning to your old habits," he replied as another bar tender placed shots in front of him, Kelly taking them all and laying down a twenty. "Drinks on me tonight!" Kelly exclaimed as Herrmann snatched up the twenty, staring into Kelly's eyes. "I'm cutting you off," he told him, Kelly's eyes widening. "What why?! Cmon Herrmann!" "Look at you! You're a wreck! Do you think Sylvie and the kids want to see you like this? You've been alcohol free for ten years... What happened?" Kelly looked at him and shrugged. "Life, life happened. I have a daughter who constantly has me on the edge. I have a son who has my temper, and I have a wife that is determined to solve all issues with our family and I already know that ain't happening," Kelly replied as he slid on his jacket reaching for his car keys on the counter, Herrmann quickly snatching them. "Really?" "Take the bus... I'm doing you a favor," Herrmann told him, Kelly looking down and shooting a thumbs up before walking out of the bar, down to the bus stop. A car suddenly rolled up and someone rolled down the window. "You need a ride?" Max asked as Kelly walked over and opened the passenger door, closing it behind him. "How'd you know where I was?" "Sylvie gave me a call. She said to pick you up because she didn't want you to drive your drunk self home" "One, I'm not drunk and two, Herrmann confiscated my keys," Kelly told him, Max laughing. "He's only looking out for you," Max replied, Kelly nodding. "So, I noticed you and Violet in the coat room last shift," Kelly said raising an eyebrow, Max rolling his eyes. "It's nothing like that. She just stopped and came over to say hi," Max told him, Kelly laughing. "I still don't believe it" "You don't believe in a lot of things!" Max exclaimed, Kelly sighing. "That's true, but it's obvious something's happened between you two," Kelly replied, Max looking at him before pulling over, looking Kelly in the eyes. "What I'm about to tell you stays between us, got it?" Max asked, Kelly nodding. "Always," Kelly replied, Max taking a deep breath. "I'm going to be a father."
