"How long are these people going to take?" Ha-na huffed, sliding back into the leather seat underneath her in Hyeon-ju's car. The four of them had been waiting for what felt like forever for Jae-myeong and his goons to move, their plan being to tail them and figure out how many homeless IDs they were stealing in one night."Sometimes I sit here for up to two hours, patience is key." Hyeon-ju answered simply, her eyes not leaving the front of the building where Jae-myeong would be exiting. Ha-na groaned.
She looked over to Geon-woo who was sitting next to her in the backseat, his face telling that he was being just as patient as Hyeon-ju was. Ha-na wasn't sure how he was always so good at waiting around. He was always like that. She looked up to him in the fact that nothing ever really seemed to bother him, even if it did, he never let it show through the surface.
"I'm just ready to see some action." Woo-jin muttered, his arms crossed over his chest and his head leaned against the headrest, falling in and out of a light sleep. Hyeon-ju looked to him. "Remember what I told you, no matter what happens, do not interfere. If Jae-myeong finds out we're following him, all my months worth of work will be for absolutely nothing." She said sternly, glancing to the two in the backseat. "Got it?"
"Got it." Ha-na and Geon-woo answered together, nodding their heads. She once again looked to Woo-jin, who didn't reply. "Do you got it?" She asked.
Woo-jin waved her off, nodding his head sleepily. "Yes, yes, I got it."
"Hey, they're here." Hyeon-ju sat up straight in her seat, noticing a van pulling up and about four men running out of the building and getting into it. They all watched curiously, the nerves now hitting Ha-na. It felt like they were doing top secret shit, and they technically were, but this all was just very nerve-wracking.
They waited until the van passed them, ducking down in their seats until the headlights were no longer shining into their vehicle, immediately starting the car up and following them.
They stopped some odd feet behind the van once it came to a halt, Woo-jin and Geon-woo putting on their caps and masks and getting ready to exit the car. "Please, remember what I said." Hyeon-ju pleaded at them with her eyes, this couldn't be messed up for her. And it was their first night on the job, so she was nervous they were going to sabotage everything. The boys nodded.
Ha-na climbed out of the backseat, looking at the two with encouraging eyes. "You got this. Don't get hurt, alright? Just stay invisible." She nodded, earning a small smile from them both.
Her and Woo-jin still hadn't really spoken since earlier, and she was still feeling guilty for what she had said, and she'd never forgive herself if Woo-jin got hurt on the job and once again, the last words she ever spoke to him were unnecessary and mean. She was worried about Geon-woo too, he had never done anything like this, and she couldn't lie, she knew if something bad happened, Geon-woo would be the first person to interrupt.
