"Wake up, yah, Ha-na, wake up." Ha-na groaned and flailed her limbs around as she was woken from her slumber, her eyes fluttering open as she saw Geon-woo towering over her. "No." She whined, covering her head with her sheets, attempting to ignore the other and go back to sleep."It's time to go practice, we have to go to the gym." He stated, ripping her comforter back off her head, throwing it to the end of her mattress.
"Jesus dude, didn't you just win a tournament? Rest! Go sleep!" She fought back, however she was now sitting up, glaring at him with sleepy eyes.
Geon-woo smiled down at her, thinking she was absolutely adorable and stunning even though she could act like a grizzly bear in the mornings. She must've not slept well last night. "Come on, I'll go run to the cafe and get you a coffee while you get ready. I'll be back in twenty, tops." He hummed, playfully 'booping' her nose with his index finger, making her groan and swat at him, even though he was already out the door.
She smiled at the thought of coffee, though. So she forced herself to get up.
She got dressed and did her morning routine quickly, trying to make sure she was ready in time so when Geon-woo got back, they could leave.
Ha-na had actually gotten ready in record time, surprised she was finished before Geon-woo. She sucked in a cleansing, yet tired breath as she sat down at the kitchen table, still rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
She didn't sleep too great last night. Thoughts spinning around her head all hours, until the sun rose it felt like. She also could've sworn she had a nightmare, but she couldn't quite remember what it was.
Her mind thought back to yesterday, everything that happened. She couldn't stop thinking about her very unexpected reunion with Woo-jin. She truly never thought she would see him again. Whether it be because he was dead, or just simply their paths would never cross again. She had to admit, she was very thankful to know he was alive, though. Sometimes she really wondered. Wondered if his life had been taken the day after everything had happened. Or if he continued in the work until he got into something he couldn't get out of. It was a relief, regardless.
"I'm back!" Geon-woo chimed, holding two coffee's up high and proudly, like he had just struck gold. Ha-na's face filled with excitement, a smile so wide painting against her lips. She hopped up, grabbing her coffee from her best friend, moaning in satisfaction as she took her first sip. "I'm awake."
Geon-woo laughed as he grabbed his coat, throwing it on. "Finally, it takes you long enough to do that." He joked, throwing an arm around her. She playfully poked a finger into his side, purposefully aiming for his ticklish spot. Geon-woo yelped and jumped away from her, looking at her with a straight face. "You're so annoying. Let's go." She giggled, grabbing his arm and throwing it back around her.
They walked out the door and headed to the gym, planning to spend most of their day training. Not only so Ha-na can prepare for her match coming up, but also prepare Geon-woo for championships since it was now official he'd be attending.
