Ha-na had her head hung low as they walked into Mr. Choi's house, expecting an immediate scolding or beating when they arrived. Whether it be from Mr. Choi or Ms. Kim.

"Oh my babies." Ms. Kim exclaimed, immediately meeting Geon-woo and engulfing him into her loving arms. Ha-na, Woo-jin, and Hyeon-ju watched endearingly, fidgeting with nerves. She couldn't be here for good reasoning.

"Ha-na, come here. What happened to you?" Ms. Kim held her hand out to Ha-na, which the girl quickly walked towards and accepted into her own. She immediately felt safe. Ms. Kim was definitely her mother figure and she always realized it in moments like these. If she felt like she was breaking again, all she needed was one loving conversation from Ms. Kim, and she was put back together.

"It's nothing, Ms. Kim. I've gotten worse from boxing." Ha-na laughed softly, trying to reassure the older but it didn't work too well. Ms. Kim took her focus away from Ha-na and looked to Woo-jin, worry filling her eyes once more.

"Woo-jin, son, what happened to your face?" She frowned, glancing between all three of her babies. She had officially taken all of them in, whether it had been verbally agreed or not. Ms. Kim sometimes wondered if her life purpose was to take in kids that didn't have a family of their own. But she wasn't upset about it. She loved having Ha-na around all of these years, and now Woo-jin. She loved him just as much.

"It's nothing ma'am. We're all okay, promise." Woo-jin bowed his head slightly, almost apologizing to her. He felt guilty, always worrying those around him.

"Mr. Choi is waiting for you downstairs. You should probably go." Ms. Kim suggested, nodding her head encouragingly. The four nodded, turning to leave her behind and follow Hyeon-ju downstairs.

As they all trickled in the basement, heads down in guilt, they could feel eyes burning into them. Ha-na glanced up, noticing a pissed-off Mr. Choi looking at them, along with another man she had never seen before. The four sat on the empty sofa in front of the elders.

"I'm sure you're all tired, so I'll keep this short." Mr. Choi started, causing their spines to slightly shiver.

Mr. Choi looked straight at Hyeon-ju and continued speaking. "When I got your call, it felt like the end of the world for me. You're my family. I was so afraid that I might lose you. I'll no longer condone you getting hurt. Let the adults handle the rest."

"I also want to help-" Geon-woo interjected.

"Geon-woo, this isn't a match where someone wins or loses. This is a war that will only end once someone's dead." Mr. Choi persisted, acting more serious with the younger than they were used to. Geon-woo's head fell to the floor, sighing softly in defeat.

"You three go upstairs." Mr. Choi demanded, immediately receiving obedience from them. They politely bowed and made their way up the staircase, leaving Hyeon-ju behind.
