The music was blasting loudly I swayed to the music as the guys behind me put his hands on my hips. It was so much fun, Tay was dancing with Derek and Savanna was dancing by me with a random guy. Johnny was drinking with Em. The song ended and I waved by to my dace partner. He nodded and walked away to find another girl to dance with. As I sat at the bar the bartender looked at me I didn’t order anything so he couldn’t ask for my ID.

Hours we were here just partying away. I walked to Savanna around six am and said “I’m heading out.” She nodded and shouted “be careful.” I handed her the keys and walked out. I rather walk then drive when I was getting drinks from Johnny all night. I walked down the street towards the road that would lead me home. As I passed an alley I heard grunts. I looked down and under the street lamp was JAx… and a girl. I wouldn’t do that outside. I walked away shaking my head of course the hot guy has a girlfriend dugh! He’s hot not that I would act on that.

I walked down the road when I saw Josh talking with a group of guys he looked at me then tapped one of the larger guys shoulders. He turned and looked at me he had light brown hair tossed about his head and green eyes. He smirked at me and winked. I rolled my eyes and kept walking I heard feet following me. I glanced over my shoulder seeing Josh and his friends following. I felt my fingers start to burn I was ready if they attacked me. I kept walking when I felt a hand take my wrist. “easy V.” I looked over seeing Johnny.

He looked so fucked up. I smiled and he put an arm around my shoulder. “needed to get away from the beer.” He stated I nodded while covering my nose. “yeah you wreak of it.” He chuckled and we walked. Josh was still following. “what’s up with them?” he shrugged and then we came to the old dirt road that was my road. It was ten miles long until you got to my house from town. I turned and Johnny asked “you gonna be ok?” he lived in town. I nodded and he hugged me saying “don’t ever drink.”

I laughed and shoved him off. “follow you own advise.” He shrugged and walked away I walked down my road and kept walking. As I passed Lunar stone it was where a really big family lived there road went ten miles the other way from my house but it still was connected to my road to get to town. I walked along my road when I heard growling. I stopped walking and looked around. Nothing. I walked on and heard more growling. I stopped once again. Josh and his group turned down Lunar Stone so I knew I was alone.

~Josh~

I walked along our road heading to the pack house. Why did we have to have a new alpha here. I hated him he’s a duch bag he was stealing all the action. I saw him walking towards us with a hot little human on his arm. He was like a predator. “JAx.” I growled he smirked and said “your just jealous I get the girls now.” I rolled my eyes. The girl was clinging onto his arm giggling. We walked down the street heading home. Jax was kissing the humans neck that’s all humans were good for a good fuck other than that there weak. As we walked I heard growled rogues.

I sighed and Jax turned to his Human for the night. “you keep walking babe there’s something I got to do.” She smiled and said “ok but hurry.” He smirked and we ran into the forest. This should be a quick kill. We shifted and raced towards the growls. As we came closed I caught the scent of a human great. Jax grunted this was going to be fun… not. Suddenly we saw a rainbow like light in the distance. As soon as it was there it was gone. We came out on a road that we never take a couple humans live on it. There lying on the ground were dead rogues

They looked like they were burned alive. I looked down the road and chafed at the guys they looked there walking away from the dead rogues was a human. She had black hair that reached down her shoulders a bit but in her hair had blue fire like marks on the end of it. She kept walking and I watched as the blue streaks vanished back into black hair. She walked on and was soon out of sight. I think I knew her. Um.. Violet… Vanessa… Velma… Verna… Vesta… VESTA! That’s it that’s her name. Vesta she was a weird girl in school always hung out with her select friends.

We headed back to the house and Jax walked in asking “what was that?” Jax was away for high school training to be the next alpha. Now he was back and waiting for his father to step down… whoopee. “how are we suppose to know!” I shouted back he growled at my tone then said “if something can kill shifters then we need to know what it is.” Net my pal who I first pointed Vesta out to stepped up saying “we’ve never seen something like that before.” Jax sighed then asked “who was that human? She was getting a tattoo earlier today but I don’t remember her name.”

I smirked and said “it’s Vesta. She’s a weirdo from high school she only hung out with like four people. She avoided mostly everyone.” Jax sighed and said “find out more about her if she’s got something that can kill us I want to know what it is!” I watched as he walked up stairs. Man I had no idea that a little nobody could kill rogues like that.

~Vesta~

I continued walking as my fire was still light on my fingers I blew it out and smiled. No wolf was a match for my fire. I’m a pyro nymph. I can control fire and create it. I love it so much. My fire isn’t like anyone has ever seen its rainbow. It’s the best thing in the world to me. I can defend myself and I can feel every things rhythm around me. I don’t see fire as a destructive thing I see it as a light that guides you. When I use my power a blue fire like streaks appear in my hair. It’s beautiful. I love it but as soon as I’m done using it, the streaks go away.

I reached the front porch finally and walked in seeing my aunt waiting up. “so how was you birthday?” she asked I smiled and said “fantastic!” I hugged her and she asked “so what kind of tattoo did you get?” I took off my shirt and we undid the wrapping she gasped saying “that’s beautiful!” I smiled and said “I know right?” we laughed and sat at the counter talking. Aunt Brie talked about my dad and how he was on his birthday.

I love my family they were always really good to me. I met a few cousins I have on my mom’s side on summer they were just as goofy as me. I think I would really like seeing my family. As we talked aunt yawned and said “It late.” I looked at the clock it was seven am. Wow… I nodded and headed to bed myself. As I walked down stairs I didn’t even bother to change out of the party clothes I just fell onto my bed and passed out.

~Jax~

I lay in my bed after waking up to find my partner was clinging onto me. I shoved her off. I got up and changed into a new pair of clothes. I walked down stairs seeing Josh and Net talking with some wolves. “What’s going on?” I asked. Josh turned to me saying “were trying to find anything out about Vesta.” I sat down joining them. “She was a nobody in high school. We barely noticed her.” Gemma stated. I sighed then Ashley stated “yeah she hung out with other humans only. She never bothered with us.” I snapped my head up. “wait what?” the girls nodded. “yeah she never bothered with us.” Cameron stated. I smirked and shook my head.

“that’s a clue right there idiots. Every human either wants to be our friends or sleep with us because of the wolf gene it make us hot to them.” They all blushed for not noticing that. god. Liam my beta walked down asking “what’s going on?” I smirked and said “five rogues were killed last night…” everyone was relaxed except for me, Josh and Net we were the one to see it. “so?” Liam asked. “by a human.” I added. They all stiffened.

“hunters?” he asked I shook my head no. “a female human. Names Vesta was the only one in the area. She was walking away from the dead rogues.” He shook his head and sat down. “dam ok um what do we know about her?” I smirked and looked a the table. “That she didn’t want anything to do with our kind. Or hers for that matter she hangs out with four people.” He shook his head and said “looks like we gotta ourselves a little trouble then.” I nodded then an idea hit me. We are Greek gods to humans. If one of these wolves can get her to date him then he can find her weapon and destroy it. all we had to do was get her to say yes to a date. “alright here’s what we’re going to do…”

“GET UP!!” I heard screaming I jumped out of bed and hit the floor. “ow…” they laughed and I got up got dressed and ready for the day. Or afternoon.
