lock down

~Vesta~

I sat under the tree I had no work today. I looked at the sky watching as the clouds roll by. It was so peaceful. I sat up under the tree and looked out into the meadow. Suddenly I saw Jax racing my way. He waved I waved back. Behind him were two other guys racing after him. Suddenly I saw a black wolf like creature tackle him down. I jumped to my feet. “JAX!!” the guys stopped running and one turned back racing towards the way they came. Jax’s body bent over and he jumped forward not as a guy but a wolf… the dog man from the cave came to mind.

Jax… Jarlath the man from my dream… I watched as he fought the black shadow dog thing. He was losing. I closed my eyes now or never. I threw my hand out and the rainbow fire blasted out I had it surrounded the shadow dog. As the fire pulled it away and caged it Jax’s wolf form looked at me. The fire kept roaring around it and formed a large rainbow cage…

I roared in pain she had control she was in complete control of the untamable fire!! How was that possible she wasn’t marked the only one to have this much control was that woman all those years ago.. VATALLI!!!! This girl…. They were back Vatalli and Jarlath they weren’t back physically but spiritually they were they were now those two.. the new rainbow fire pyro and the protector. I growled at the corpse before me. He never left. He cursed me to this hole and never left.

~Vesta~

I watched as  Jax ran towards me but a larger wolf jumped before him and stopped him from running. My mind flashed the to dream we were pulled away from each other. Jarlath and me.. I went to run to him but something grabbed me and held me back. I looked seeing Ashley from the diner. “no you can’t go near him.” she stated with sad eyes. “no not again.” I said and pushed her but she was too strong.

Jax was human and fighting against the guys holding him back. “NO YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND!! VESTA!!!” he shouted as he kept fighting. I struggled against her but Ashley pushed me back farther away from Jax. “I’m sorry.” She stated as tears ran down her face. “then let me go!” I shouted she held me saying “I can’t the alpha ordered it.” I looked at her she must be a wolf too.

I was pushed back to my home. “go home Vesta..” she sobbed as she turned and ran into the forest.. Jax... I felt the tears run down my face… why did it hurt we weren’t even together. Why was it painful to see him pulled away? I fell to my knees as the tears streamed down my face.

~Jax~

I was locked in the study. “What is wrong with you!” my father roared. “let me go you don’t under stand!” I roared back. “I understand fine history is repeating itself! You just like you ancestor! A pyro out of all the humans on this planet a PYRO!” he roared. “your wrong history is wrong I have to mark her for her to be strong enough to defeat that creature!” dad turned to me and said “you haven’t marked her yet! Good then were safe it won’t rise yet!” I roared and said “NO IT WILL IF I DON’T MARK HER!!” he roared back saying

“YOU KNOW NOTHING YOUR JUST A PUP!!” I sighed and looked to the floor. “you watch when the rainbow night comes that creature will rise and be more fierce then you will ever know.” I stated he growled and the grabbed me by my neck and pulled my shirt to the side he did it on both sides.

“you didn’t mark her.” He sighed. “that is proof enough that it will not rise. You are going to stay in this room until the rainbow night!” he ordered and slammed the door shut.  I bolted forwards and started to rip at the handle. NO! I had to get to Vesta she was in danger!

I banged on the door and pulled but it was locked. I turned and ran for the window. As I struggled with the window but then I saw three guards standing by it watching me. I growled my mate was in danger and I was stuck here!! I had to save her I had to no matter what happened!

Liam and I sat at the kitchen table as Jax was locked away in the study. I was sitting on the journal of Jarlath. We had to get them together some how or we would all be killed but with Jax under lock down and the pack guarding the place we had to think hard. If we were caught then we would all be under lock down until the rainbow night. I watched as Ashley walked into the house in tears she was ordered to push Vesta away.

Alpha walked down and turned to her. “Ashley… you shall be the luna.. I will not have that pyro as his mate.” it was an order that I knew she didn’t want to follow. She already had a mate to claim. I looked away as she nodded and agreed. She sat with us and looked at me… Ashley… I smirked and she sighed.

“what are we going to do we all know Jax loves her and it’s obvious she loves him.” I sighed and showed her the book. As she read her eyes widened. “is this true.” Liam and I nodded. “we have to help them..” she whispered as low as possible. “we can’t… well get locked up too.” Liam stated.

She sighed and asked “is there anything we can do? I mean were gonna die if there not together.” I shrugged and said “I don’t know. Right no there’s nothing we need to think and think hard.” I put the book back under my ass as I talked with my two best friends right now.

“maybe there is something.” Ashley stated I smirked good thing we got at least one girl on our side.
