rainbow night

“So um alpha when is the rainbow night?” I asked he smirked and said “for the millionth time Joshua it’s tonight.” I nodded and then asked “does it start right away for like the middle of the night?” I asked god I felt so stupid. He groaned and said “as soon as the moon rises and it lasts all night.” I nodded again. Ashley was picking the lock at the study as I was distracting the alpha with lame questions.

*thump* *thump* *thump* *thump*

Jax was still making noise so no one would think any different. “when will that boy quit?” he asked not likely. I thought then asked “so what is the legend about with the rainbow night sir?” he glared at me I ran out of questions so I kept repeating myself. As he talked I prayed Ashley would fucking hurry with the dam lock!

Suddenly the thumping stopped. What? Alpha looked up and ran down the hall. Liam was caught when he tried to get away but he at least got the book to me. I ran after the alpha and he growled “how did he get out!” he roared then ran down the hall. I ran the other way to my room and opened the door I through the book to Jax as he climbed out the window and ran into the forest.

This was very risky.

~Vesta~

This is the third time the fire it forcing me to go to Jax’s house he’s not there already sheesh! I walked in the meadow and started to practice my fire once again. Suddenly I heard “VESTA!!!” I turned seeing Jax racing my way with a bunch of wolves behind him. He ran up to me and pulled me into a hug.

“thank god I’m not to late.” He stated. Too late? “JAX!!” I looked behind him seeing an older version of Jax standing at the edge of the forest. “step away from the girl.” He growled. Jax put his arm around my waist and growled at him saying “no!” then he handed me a book saying “please read this right now.” I nodded and opened the door.

I scanned through it and my eyes widened. Jarlath…. That name… my mind flashed to the dream the man who picked me up I whispered that name. As I continued to read I gasped Jarlath was my old mate my past life I was Vatalli. I looked up seeing Jax looking at me.

“tonight’s the rainbow night.” I stated he nodded and walked up to me he looked at my neck to my lips to my eyes. Then he kissed me. “JAX’S I ORDER YOU NOT TO MARK THAT PYRO!!!” screamed the old guy. Jax growled and turned around screaming “I CLAIM THE RIGHT TO CHALLENGE!!!”

We reached the meadow seeing Jax and his dad at each other’s throats in wolf form. A challenge really! Right now! I watched as the sun was setting. Shit! I looked at Vesta on the other side of the meadow starring in shock I could see her shoulders clearly she wasn’t marked.

God dammit Jax we didn’t break you out so you could challenge your pops. Liam ran up to us and asked “what’s going on?” I pointed and he groaned. “seriously?” he asked I nodded “yeah we got about ten minuets before the moon rises.” He sighed and Ashley looked around.

What the hell are we suppose to do just fucking mark her!! I watched as both Alpha’s shifted back and looked at each other. “the sun is setting son. The rainbow night is here now you will see what happens when a pyro isn’t marked.” Jax’s dad stated. I watched as the sky started to change colors into a rainbow.

The moon rose glowing a bright white. The earth below our feet started to shake. Jax turned and ran towards Vesta but the earth cracked and a black arm thing came out with a roaring face screaming. “FREEE!!!!” alpha looked pale as Jax ran around but the arm wacked him away.

“your all fools I now am free!!” it turned to Vesta and growled saying “the rainbow pyro…” it swung at her and the fire shot up I watched as the fire was weak compared to the creature but it burned him enough to make it back off. She looked scared. That’s why Jax was needed he was to mark her making her stronger so she could defeat that thing.

Vesta was the true fighting to kill that thing. I ran and said “get Jax to Vesta or were all dead!” the thing swung at me and I dodged it just barley. As I ran towards her she put up another fire wall blocking the attack. It broke through and staggered back as she hit a tree.

I picked her up and ran into the forest with that thing on my tail SHIT!

~Liam~

We ran with Jax as alpha was in shock he now knew what he did the retard. I heard him mutter “but.. but it’s supposed to not come out..” I had Jax’s back as he ran in the direction Josh was racing. We had to get them together now before that thine ate every human around.

Ashley was right behind me as she shouted “incoming!!” we all dodged another attack from this thing what the fuck was this thing!! It looked like a demented dog!
