A very pregnant Rosalie waddled through the halls, rubbing her stomach as another cramp happened. "Diane!" Rosalie spoke loudly to get a maid's attention that was a little farther up the hall, making her turn and rush toward her.
"My queen," Diane said, bowing. "Hi, are you busy doing a task right now?" she asked.
"No, Your Grace I was just going to the kitchen to see if they needed help." Diane answered, smiling at her queen.
"Very well, my sister is in her chambers, and they are on the way to the kitchens. Do you think you can tell her I requested her in the gardens?" Rosalie requested kindly
"Of course your grace right away," the maid said, rushing off as Rosalie made her to the gardens where she waited for Alicent.
"Sister, oh, you are glowing," Alicent said as she walked to where Rosalie was sitting, kissing her on the cheek before sitting down herself.
"Thank you, sister, the baby should be here soon, that is what the mother said," Rosalie replied.
"That is good news." Alicent commented with an excited smile.
"Yes, it is." The two continued to talk before Rosalie shifted in her seat, discomfort clear on her face.
"What is wrong, sister?" Alicent asked, setting her tea down.
"The baby, I think the baby is coming," she whispered before feeling a sharp pain and wetness cover her thighs. "Um, correction, the baby is coming; my water just broke."
"Oh, ok, let's get you up, Calum. Please help." Alicent said he panicked slightly, making Calum run and help Rosalie up.
"We need to get you to a birthing room, your grace," he said, helping her stand.
"Yes, yes, we do. Let us go do that." Rosalie muttered as the three walked slowly through the gardens and to the castle.
"Talia, my dear, come here, please." Rosalie called out, seeing her young handmaiden, before bending over in pain and grunting.
"My queen, are you alright?" Talia asked, rushing to her.
"Talia, my dear, it seems the baby is coming. As of now, there is a council meeting happening right now. Please go and alert the king and my father that I have started my labors and I am being taken to a birthing room and get Maester Grant. Please, it is on the way," she said, doing her best to breathe through the pain.
"Right away, your Grace Oh, this is exciting," Talia said, squealing slightly before rushing to the maester office and then the council room.
-------------------------
Talia ran to the council room before being stopped by the guards. "You cannot go in their maid," one of them said.
"I need to know that the queen has started her labors. She told me to alert the king, and the hands of the king now move," she said, waving her hands around, making them move immediately, and opening the doors, letting her run in.
"What is the meaning of this?" Otto asked, looking at the maid.
"The Queen has started her labor. Maester Grant is with her now. She is in a birthing chamber. She asked for me to alert you to my Lord's hand as well as your grace," she said in one breath.
"She started her labors," Viserys said, panicked. "Yes, your grace," making Viserys dismiss the meeting and rush to find his wife. He found her walking around the room, panting and sweating, holding her back.
"My love," Viserys said, rushing to her side. "Oh, Viserys, our baby has decided to make his way into the world," she said, smiling softly and kissing his hand.
