"What do you mean he kicked you out?" Jason Lannister yelled at his daughter Cadence, furious about the way his daughter was treated by the king.
"He said he would never want the company of a woman like me, and it was all because of that whore Rosalie Hightower. She walked into his chambers, and all of a sudden he hated me," she ugly cried to her parents.
"He was just being an idiot, my dear. The king will realize that you are the best option to be his wife and queen," her mother reassured her, not knowing how wrong they were or that the king's heart would only ever beat for his sweet rose.

"Good morning, my lords. Please all sit down and let us discuss some matters," Viserys said as he walked into the council room, seeing everyone sitting.
"Ser Ryam was found dead earlier," Mellos answered.
"Ser Ryam was a strong Lord and Commander of the King's Guard, but he was ill for some time. He passed in peace, I hope," Viserys said, looking at the man.
"Yes, Your Grace," Mellos told him. "He was found to have passed gently in his sleep; his remains are being prepared by the silent sisters."
"The succeeding Lord Commander, Ser Harrold, would like to make haste in finding Ser Ryam's replacement on the King's guard."
All Viserys could think of was how he was betrayed by this man, the man who he thought was his friend.
"The king's guard must be restored to its full complement of seven. With the help of my hand, I have invited several fine candidates to court, all of whom have passed fair trials." Ser Harrold informed them all
"Four ships have now been lost; the last one was flying my banner," Lord Corlys said, agitated. "The step stones have grown into conflagration, yet you sit here and dither about court business.".
"If you have something to discuss, Lord Coryls," Otto said, not liking the disrespect the Lord was showing.
"I want to know what is to be done about my ship and my men."
"The crown will compensate you for your ship and crew and make offerings to the men's families," Viserys told him.
"I don't want compensation. I want to seize the steps stones by force and burn out his crab feeder," Coryls said, banging his fist onto the table.
"I am not prepared to start a war with the free cities," Viserys told him sternly.
"These pirates are not the Free Cities; who do you think provides them with their ships and tender?"
"In all of its history, my Lord, The Seven Kingdoms have never entered an open war with free cities. Were that to happen, the losses would be incalculable."
"What reason does the crab feeder have to fear us? The king's brother has been allowed to seize Dragonstone. and fortify it with an army of his gold cloaks." Corlys remarked
"Daemon has been squared there for over half a year without even a protest from the Crown," he continued.
"I'll caution you, Lord Corlys, that a seat at the King's table does not make you his equal," Otto warned him.
"I have acted, Corlys," Viserys told him.
"I've sent envoys to Pentos and Volantis to see if we might find a common cause. Ships and men are at the ready. The step zones will be settled in time."
"You have dragon riders send us," Rhaenyra said, and the men chuckled at the thought.
"It is not that simple, Rhaenyra." Viserys responded, shaking his head.
"It would be a show of force," she countered. "At least the princess has a plan," Corlys said, shrugging.
"There are not many dragon riders, and I will not risk their lives to fight a war that has not started," Viserys said sternly.
"Perhaps, uh, there's some better use for the princess's talent, your grace," Otto suggested.
"Yes, why don't you take the Princess to choose a new King Guard member, Lord Commander?" Viserys said.
"Of course, your grace," Ser Harrold said, nodding to his king.
Rhaenyra was practically fuming as she walked through the halls to where the knights were before seeing the lady Rosalie smirking to herself and running over to her.
"Rosalie Rosalie Your father collapsed in the council room. The maester was there; he wasn't waking up," she said, sounding concerned and making Rosalie stutter before picking up her dress and running to the council room.
"Princess, why would you? Otto Hightower was fine when we left." Ser Harrold stuttered, looking back at the running girl.
"Because the whore deserves it now, do not question me again." Rhaenyra snapped at the man, making him sigh, agitated at her behavior.
Rosalie ran and ran before she saw the council room doors. "My lady, are you alright?" one of the guards asked after seeing the girl running as well as holding on to tears.
"No, I, excuse me, please," she said, practically pushing a guard out of the way, bursting through the doors, and yelling for her father, making all of the men freeze and confused about why the girl who normally has a smile on her face looks terrified as she yelled for her father.
"Rosalie, what is the matter?" Otto said, rushing to his daughter, nearly being knocked to the floor as she leaped into his arms, sobbing in relief.
"She said that you had fallen and that you weren't waking up. Are you ok?" she ranted, looking over her father.
"Rosalie I am fine; nothing has happened," Otto replied, confused about what his daughter was saying.
"Rosalie, who told you your father was hurt?" Viserys questioned his heartbreak when she looked at him before wiping her face, bowing, and hiccupping as she held in her tears.
"My king, my lords, I am so sorry for intruding," she said, scared she would be in trouble and that she had angered them.
"Rosalie, you have not intruded on anything now. Please answer my question about who told you your father was hurt." Viserys replied
"The Princess ran up to me in the halls; she told me my father collapsed and was not waking up," she said, making the king stand up from his chair, anger clear on his face.
"This meeting is over," he told them before walking out of the room as Otto walked his young daughter, who was still crying, to her room.
"I did not mean to upset his grace." I'm sorry, Father. I'm sure I have embarrassed you, but I thought something had happened to you." she cried. The thought of the man she was falling for and her father being angry at her terrified her made her feel as though her heart was breaking.
"My little flower, I am not angry at you, and you have not embarrassed me, nor have you angered the king; he cares very much about you, and he is very angry at the princess for the way she has treated you." Otto assured her, making her nod and blush at the thought of the king caring for her, which her father noticed but didn't say anything. While they talked, the king stormed through the halls to where his daughter was, making everyone in the halls nervous as they never saw the king look as angry as he was.
