"Your grace, you wanted to speak with me," Otto asked as he entered the king's chambers.

"Yes, my friend, I did. I first wanted to apologize for Rhaenyra's behavior. I dealt with it, and I spent some time apologizing to Rosalie," he told Otto.

"thank you"

"A few weeks ago, I had tea with Rosalie, and after that, it seems she has saved my life," Viserys said, struggling to find the words he wanted to

"How is your grace?" Otto asked, sitting down in a chair and leaning forward, intrigued.

"She made me a cup of tea and asked why I drink my tea with Valerian root. I explained what the Mellos said the root was for, then you came in and the whole daemon situation happened, so she came back when the Lannister girl situation happened and explained that taking the root is harming me, not healing me," he said, grabbing the book Rosalie brought to him, handing it to his hand, and a close friend making him read the Valerian root, page

"The root takes energy and makes one sick. After taking it for such a long time, you are susceptible to an infection. She gave me an herb that counters the effect that has been helping. I asked Mellos about the root, and he said it brings energy, helps headaches, and helps nausea," he said, scoffing before downing the wine he had in his hand.

"Everything you just said is the opposite of what this book says," Otto said, bewildered, looking shocked.

"Yes, your daughter snuck into his office and stole the book and brought it to me. I want his head on a spike. I want all of his cases looked into to make sure he did not poison or kill anyone else, as well as any other measter that has worked with him."

"Very well, my king, do you want this down now?"

"Yes," Viserys said, looking into the fire and hearing Otto walk out of his chambers.

The news of Maester Mellos being arrested for treason and soon to be executed traveled fast, as did the king's protectiveness for the lady Rosalie.

Rhaenyra and Alicent walked into the halls. Alicent was still mad at Rhaenyra for the way she had treated her sister, but she was practically her only friend, and she knew she was going through a hard time losing her mother.

"It's only been half a year since my mother died, and already they tried to marry my father off and replace me as heir. Well, that won't happen. I am heir. I will be queen." Rhaenyra rambled seethingly in anger, knowing her father had eyes for the one lady she hated, not the one lady she despised.

"You cannot worry about the matter of lords and kings, Rhaenyra," Alicent reminded her as they walked into the sept, seeing Rosalie kneeling and praying.

"Sister," Alicent said softly to Rosalie, making her turn around and smile before seeing Rhaenyra, making her stiffen.

"Sister, Princess," she said stiffly, bowing slightly.

"Excuse me, I will be taking my leave," she said, beginning to leave.

"Please don't leave; just stay. I am sure you have not finished your prayers." Alicent said she did not want her sister to leave, not wanting to ruin her sister's place of peace.

"Very well," Rosalie said before kneeling again.

"What if your father were to remarry?" Alicent asked Rhaenyra, making Rosalie freeze and listen closely.

"I think the only people who would marry my father would be for the title; he's old, and I doubt anyone would want to marry him." Rhaenyra said, rolling her eyes and sitting down. Rosalie tried her hardest to block out the conversation as she felt sad but also angry at the words that spewed from Rhaenyra's lips.
