"soften your knees, feet light" Ser Criston reminded Prince Roan as he trained with his brothers and cousins in the courtyard the king and lord hand and Daemon sat above them on a balcony watching their training

"keep your feet light and your hands heavy" Ser Harwin instructed the eldest Velaryon prince, he had taken a keen interest in the princess children who resembled him more than their suppose of father he tried to keep his distance but he loved the boys and this is the way he could show it

"dont stand too upright Aegon or you will get knocked down" Callum warned the eldest prince who grunted in understanding before stopping the swinging of his sword

" Aegon" Callum said raising an eyebrow "i have won my first bout Ser Callum My opponent begs for mercy" Aegon said jokingly making the knight chuckle gently nodding his head

"well, you'll have a new opponent then My Lord of the straw Let us see if you and your brother can beat me" Ser Callum said raising a eyebrow challenging the young princes who looked at each other and smirked

" boo" Enora said jumping from behind Otto startling him as she fell into a fit of giggles "oh you little" Otto said pulling the giggling princess into his arms tickling her "mercy have mercy grampa" she begged making him stop

"hi kepas hi grampa" Enora said kissing ottos cheek who gently smiled "hi my flower" Viserys replied before looking over his shoulder feeling a hand run up his back smiling when he saw his beautiful wife

"hi my love" she whispered placing a soft kiss on his lips making him hum "hi my dear"

"hi father" Rosalie said kissing ottos cheek "hi my little flower" he said "hello Daemon" Rosalie said to daemon making him smile and nod back

"hi papa" Alicent said kissing ottos cheek "hi my dear" he whispered back

"Rosalie" he said as he pulled Alicent onto his lap kissing her cheek

Rosalie looked down seeing her two eldest sons positioning themselves to fight against her sworn knight

"are they fighting Callum" Rosalie asked worry clear in her voice she knew he wouldn't hurt her sons but she couldn't help but worry he was a fantastic warrior and knight and her boys were still learning

"yes they will be fine no need to worry wife" Viserys assured turning to look at her who nodded but still looked worried

"ah ah Weapons up boys, give your enemies no quarter" Harwin remarked as he glanced at Ser Callum who was fighting with Aegon and Roan it agitated him his boys should have their attention their the sons of the heir

"it seems the younger boys could do better with a bit of your attention Ser Criston Ser Callum" He spoke drawing everyone's attention as the two knight stiffened in agitation

"you question our methods of instruction and training Ser Harwin" Criston asked calmly

"Oh I merely suggest that method be applied to all your pupils" Harwin suggested nodding his head towards Jace and Luke

Criston hummed "very well Jacaerys come here" he said grabbing the brown haried boy dragging him to the center if the yard where Aegon stood "you will spar with Aegon" he said Aegon chuckled a little seeing his nephew look nervous

"eldest son against eldest son" Ser Callum said smirking Rosalie took a nervous breathe the tension was between the three knights was suffocating

"that is hardly a fair match" Harwin remarked

Criston scoffed and Callum rolled his eyes "i know you have never seen true battle Ser Harwin but when steel is drawn, a air match isn't something anyone should expect" Criston remarked

"swords ready" Callum demanded the two princes "Engage" Criston demanded

Aegon moved first swinging his sword hard using his height and weight knocking Jaco down but the young prince jumped right back up swinging his sword back at Aegon but he knocked the straw dummy into him

"foul play" Hawin said glaring at the older prince

"I will deal with him" Criston said grabbing Aegon's shoulder "plant your feet you have a height advantage use it" Criston whispered receiving a nod from the prince

"Advance on him" Criston said and Aegon charged forward shouting

"close with him press him backward!" Criston shouted as Jace tried to get away from his uncle "close with him stay on the attack use your feet" Criston continued as Harwin watched nervously

"that is enough" Rosalie shouted her voice full of authority making everyone freeze except ser break bones who was blinded by rage "enough" Harwin shouted grabbing Aegon aggressively throwing him a few feet away making him fall

Viserys stood up in worry not realizing his wife was rushing down to the court yard worried for her children

"you dare put you hand on me" Aegon shouted enraged as Harwin grabbed his collar pulling him close before he felt himself be ripped away by Ser Calum who was ready to draw blood if needed

"you forget yourself strong" Criston said calmly "that is the prince"

"this is what you teach Cole? Harwin countered "cruelty to the weaker opponent" Harwin said as he bent down picking up the sparing swords not realizing the queen was making her way to them after she made sure Aegon was alright

"your interest in the princeling's training is quite unusual, Commander most men would only have that kind of devotion towards a cousin or a brother or even a son" Criston taunted making Harwin see red pushing the queen out of the way making her fall into Callum's arms Harwin tackled Criston throwing punch after punch

"Rosalie" Viserys shouted rushing to get down stairs yelling for the fighting to seize

"your grace are you" Callum started to ask before Rosalie interrupted him "yes yes stop him" she ordered pointing at the fight that was occurring her sons ran to her side her eldest two worried for her ready to protect and her two youngest startled Jace and Luke rushed to her side as well knowing she could keep them safe their mother may not like her but she had always been kind and gentle with them

"say it again!, say it again!" Harwin demanded before Callum tackled him off of his lover he was angry he pushed his queen and pummeled the man he loved

"thought as much" Criston muttered Rosalie dropped to her knees next to her

"gods be good why would you do something like that" she said ripping her dress to place it on the cut that was leaking blood on his head "got the answer I wanted" Criston said coughing as pain shot through his ribs

Viserys reached the two "you have a knack for getting beat ser Criston" he joked making Rosalie hit his arm "sorry your grace" Ser Criston said but recived a nod of gratitude "are you alright my love" he asked his wife who nodded

"Callum Arryk take Criston to the master now" Rosalie demanded making both knight nod helping the knight up

"well that was interesting" Aegon said "ya" Aemond agreed " I understand why he is called ser breakbone's now that was intense but so cool" Roan said cheering making everyone laugh slightly

"you alright my boy" Viserys asked checking on Aegon "ya kepas perfectly fine" Aegon responded
