"If your daughter wishes it her father is the king she is a princess she has a duty to marry well and have heirs to continue on her husbands blood line the houses may draw their support and loyalty if they know you will let your royal children marry someone who is not from a noble house because of that you risk ally's" Rhaenyra spat her own father didn't allow her the chance to marry who she pleases but he is letting his daughter with a whore choose

"then we call off the betrothal" Viserys simply stated making her smile and nod
