"Hey, slow down kid.", I chanted.

The kid will be the end of me.

I decided to be a facilitator and now I have second thoughts dealing with these kids. They are overly energetic and speak more fluent Tamil than I do. They are kids. I wonder why I am comfortable with kids and want to cherish them.

"I want to see the monkeys.....", the little boy whined walking ahead of me on the stairs.

The worst part, I am scared of heights and I want to smack this child. I can't smack someone's kid they trust me to look after. That would be abuse and I don't do abuse.

"The monkeys won't run away kid.....hey look a monkey.....", my idiocy of telling the kid.

"Wah...I want to touch its tail....."

"Ahhh, no wayyy....hey watch it....kid.....", the kid fucking tripped on its shoelace nearly taking us 42 meters down. My face would be gone. The kid would be dead on the spot.

"My shoe is loose"

"Kid, you nearly had us falling on our faces 230 steps off the ground....freaking 42 meters....."

"....."

"Do you know how to tie your shoe?"

"No...."

"I will tie your shoelace."

"They almost fell face flat down the stairs...", Vlad announced starting at 2 people.

"Who did?", Miyaze asked

"The kid with the older kid there, with the group of kids and adults....I think they are on a tour....in all the adults there, there is one early-age teenager, maybe?"

"You want to ask the kid out?"

"Miyaze....the kid is surrounded by brats and adults...besides I like developed dicks, not underage ones...."

"You talk like your an old man....but your only 18, dick head"

"I am old.....but both of them are adorable...I feel weird.....yup, I am getting old.....

"Pretty sure, you are in love dude....you look smitten."

"Maybe.....I like small things...and they look small and violent."

"And that is all for today's class.", I concluded the class today. I taught the kids maps from around the world.

I have a bunch of weird pamphlets, tokens, souvenirs, luck charms, pieces of wood, and bugs on the desk.
All I told was to bring something to show and share what you guys did on the weekend.

It just felt right because It was unnecessary drama.Where stories live. Discover now
