*Third person POV* The cold weather was beginning to roll in. While it didn't often snow in Konoha, it did get into freezing temperatures during the night for a few weeks.
Naruto had been going through his families possessions the last few months and preparing for this time. He also began growing his hair out because he found that it was traditional for the head branch of his clan from a book his mother left behind. He rebuilt his house with a technique made by Hashirama, Mokuton: Shichuka (Wood style: four pillar house), that he found in the Senju compound.

This house was moderately bigger. He added a few rooms for his future wives to stay in, knowing multiple people would be hard to fit in one bedroom not to mention their stuff, as he was thinking ahead. He practiced his mokuton, now with more guidance from the scrolls, by furnishings each of the rooms.
He also added a separate room that was just for all the scrolls and weapons he now had, taking them from each of his ancestors compounds as not to risk letting them fall into the wrong hands. He did replace the scrolls with fake scrolls that would explode immediately if opened to catch anyone trying to steal through it would be difficult as each compound had their own security seals. The only scrolls he didn't outright take were the Uchiha scrolls, but he did copy all of them with an army of shadow clones when he had the chance. All of these, as well as most of his money, were now in the 'library' which had blood and chakra seals around the entire room only allowing him entrance.
He didn't just practice his mokuton. He also practiced his Mongekyou Sharingan, base sharingan, and sealing chains with help from the scrolls and an army of shadow clones. These were all tricky, but he was coming along quickly because of the clones.
He bought some windows and doors in town under a henge to put in the house so he didn't have just open holes throughout his home. He installed them himself, knowing how because of all the books he read in the public library, though he did make a few mistakes before getting the hang of it.
Aside from his recent renovations and training, he also spent a lot of time at the Inuzuka compound watching and helping his fox pack train when needed. They were coming along really well. Yume picked up chakra manipulation the easiest, and Yaseno had the best chakra control, but Ryoshi did struggle for a while. He did eventually get it down but because he is better will physical activities, he still has to work harder then the other two when learning something new.
While at the compound, Naruto did meet a new person named Hana, who was only a couple years older than him.
