Blake's POV

"Out of my way, six traumatized kids coming through!" Henry yelled as we made our way through the halls for the first time in ages.

Kids stared at us as Henry made it clear that we finally returned back to school.

"Has he always been this excited about school?" Trevor asked in confusion

"I think he's just happy that he can be a normal kid again" Emma answered

"Hey you, did you miss me? I know you missed me, it's ok I'm here" Henry exclaimed, hugging a random freshman.

"I think we should be a tad bit concerned" Megan laughed as Henry started high fiving every person that passed us, whether they wanted to or not. It was half entertaining, half embarrassing but that's Henry.

"He has a therapist" I said waving their concerns away

It's been a week since Emma woke up and frankly life has been really good. I'm still on probation but my officer lightened up on the rules since my progress has been extremely well. I have one more week with him and then I can fully relax and be done with this shit.

I'm actually really excited to be back in school as well. We are all finishing up our year here but we all have to attend a week of summer school to catch up on all the important classes we've missed. I would be bummed but to be honest I don't care as long as I'm with my friends, including Trevor.

We all forgave Trevor and Jack in the end. They were both genuinely sorry and they explained their whole story to us, showing how messed up Angie really was. Trevor also told Julianna everything, she was upset when she found out about the whole situation but she understood why he didn't want to tell her. Now, they're happily together and Julianna is in remission which is amazing.

Also, my dad finally came home from work a couple of days ago. He wasn't that mad but I think it's mostly because he's happier to see me ok than hurt or in jail. I'm just glad he's back home, it's been hard without him.

"I give him till third period and he'll be back to his normal 'School is boring' attitude" Eric said as we all watched Henry dance in the halls.

"He's so weird" I mumbled, slightly embarrassed as he hugged one of the teachers.

"Shut up, we are all acting like Henry on the inside" Emma said, defending my idiotic best friend.

"Yo Henry!" I called

We all watched as he happily came rushing over to us in excitement.

"Yeah?" Henry asked placing his hands on his hips.

"You need to relax" I laughed as I patted his back.

"I'm just so happy, like do you smell that?" He asked us.

We all gave each other funny looks but listened to him and sniffed the air.

"It smells like sweat" Trevor said scrunching his nose in disgust.

"It smells like Rydell" Henry corrected him as he began touching the lockers.

"Should I tell Lola you're cheating on her with this school?" I joked earning laughs.

"Shut up" he mumbled, lightly shoving me.

I've missed this teasing around. The kids around here are so lucky that they didn't go through what we just went through. Before, when we were in the middle of all of the drama, everyone was so tense. We didn't laugh or joke, we were all sad and on edge.

As we walk the halls this time though something seems different, a good different. Maybe it's the fact that we don't have to keep looking over shoulder for Angie, or maybe it's because I don't have to worry about getting the crap beaten out of me. Either way I like it, I can totally get used to being a normal teen for once.

"We are totally the talk of the school, everyone is staring" Megan mumbled, stepping behind Eric

"More like talk of the town" Trevor corrected

I glanced around the halls and noticed that everyone was staring or whispering about us. I mean Henry is attracting a huge portion of the stares but I do feel the feeling of being talked about.

"Embrace it, we are all going to be in the yearbook on the memory page! I can just see it now, it'll be in big bold letters 'when those group of kids went missing' it's going to be great" Henry said motioning his hands as if he was promoting some big idea

"At least one of us took something positive out of the situation" I pointed out, as the happy boy gave me a thumbs up and a big grin

"I just hope that next year we will all have a normal senior year" Emma said wrapping her arm around my waist.

I placed my lips onto her forehead and hugged her back.

"Knowing us we won't" Eric said making everyone laugh and nod

"Hey but whatever happens, we're all in this together, right?" Henry said earning a whole bunch of laughs

"Shut up" I laughed as the first bell rang.

We all said goodbye to each other and dispersed from the group. Emma and I walked the familiar way to the locker rooms and past Ms. J's old health room on the way.

"I'm glad this year is over" Emma said grabbing my hand

"This year wasn't even that bad" I admitted receiving a weird look from my girlfriend.

"Besides the past couple of months" I added while rolling my eyes

"The only good thing about this year was meeting you" She smiled

"Who's the cheesy one now?" I teased before placing my lips onto hers.

God, I love this girl so much and to be honest I don't know what the future holds for us but in this moment right now, I wouldn't change a damn thing.
