Chapter 17

Blake's POV

"We will be back soon ok?" I told Emma who just nodded her head softly.

"Listen to Eric, he knows a lot of important information." I said kissing her cheek before turning around to go outside.

"Blake?" Emma called my name

"Yeah?" I asked looking over my shoulder.

"Kick some ass" she said making me laugh.

"Will do babe" I said smiled

I walked outside on the porch and noticed Henry sitting on the steps with his head buried in his hands.

"Like I said before, she's tough" I said as I took a seat next to him.

"You don't know what they are doing to her." Henry said with a low voice.

"You're right, but I know that she won't give up and that's all that matters" I sighed.

Henry lifted his head and wiped his eyes before letting out a huge breath of air.

"We can find her" he stated more confidently

"You bet we can" I smiled taking out my phone to make an important call.

I was relieved when I heard the line pickup and heard Frank answer.

"Is there a reason you're waking me up at this hour?" He tiredly asked

"Actually yes, you see tonight at Prom-"

"You called me to talk about Prom? Blake I am a forty year old man I don't give two shits about your little dance. You can tell me all about your magical ball tomorrow at work ok?" Frank exclaimed making me roll my eyes. I put the phone on speaker so Henry could listen in as well.

"Frank listen to me! A girl got taken, not just any girl, my best friend. So can you please wake up and help me." I said getting his attention.

"You're not looking for her are you?" Frank asked seriously

"We were just about to leave" I said unsurely receiving a confused, sad facial expression from Henry.

"Don't. Wait until the morning, we both know who most likely took her but we don't know why. Tomorrow we will go into work as if nothing happened, then we will start interrogating." Frank said

"Please tell me you didn't call the cops" Frank added

"No, not yet." I said rubbing the back of my neck

"Don't we can't have them involved" Frank sighed

"So we wait?" Henry asked getting annoyed

"It makes sense" I told him softly, knowing how hard this whole thing was effecting him.

"Maybe to you but not to me. I'm going, if I get hurt or die trying well at least I cared enough and didn't sit around and wait like you" Henry spat before getting up from the porch step.

I hung up the phone and got up from the step as well.

"Don't say that I don't care alright? I do fucking care, it's just I don't want any of us to get killed! Sorry that I want to be safe!" I said angrily

"Safe isn't going to get her back!" Henry yelled before running over to his car

"You don't even know where she is!" I yelled flipping him off as he got into his car and slammed the door.

"Obviously she's with someone from your little illegal weed crew!" Henry shouted rolling down his window

"That's it" I mumbled before sprinting toward his car.

I swung open his car door and pulled him out of the seat.

"You're not fucking going." I sternly said gripping his shirt tight.

"Who do you think has her?" Henry asked pushing me away from him

"If I tell you, you'll just run away" I said shaking my head just as I heard the front door open.

"Why are you two screaming?" Eric asked but we both ignore him, never breaking eye contact with each other.

"Who took her" Henry asked again

I walked over to him and whispered in his ear the name of Lola's kidnapper and watched as he turned around and got back into his car.

I was about to bring him out again but he locked the car, he looked at me and gave me a sad smile before opening his mouth.

"Before prom you said I can have what ever I want, even if you hated it. Well I want to go find her." Henry said making me back away from the car in defeat.

"You're seriously letting him go?" Eric asked in shock

"I'm a man of my word" I said as Henry started up his car.

"Hold up!" I yelled before running over to him.

"Go to my house, and grab a gun. You know where they are right?" I whispered receiving a nod.

"Don't do anything stupid" I said as he started backing out of Eric's driveway.

"Like follow a group of gang members and attempt to save my girlfriend?" Henry joked as if our whole little argument didn't even happen

"Text us on a regular basis so we know your safe" I told him, giving him a wave before he zoomed away.

"He's going to get himself killed" Eric said in disbelief

"He probably won't even find the place, let's just let him have this so he can feel better about himself. He will come back in the morning tired, and then we can start actually finding her." I told Eric as we watched Henry's car race down the street.

Henry's POV

I drove aimlessly around town for a good half hour finding nothing. I groaned and frustratingly hit my steering wheel, how the hell am I going to find her?

I pulled over my car to the side of the road and took out my phone. I went into my messages and clicked on Lola and I's conversation and began to type.

To: Lola
Where do they have you, Im looking everywhere for you. I love you and I hope your ok.

I hovered my thumb over the blue send button, not knowing if she would even get the message. What if she's hiding and her phone is on? I would get her in more danger.

I read the message once again and pushed the send button. She has to answer, it's Lola she's the toughest girl I know.

I wiped my anxious hands on my jeans and waited for her to answer. I glanced at the gun sitting next to me making me more uneasy. Maybe I should've listened to Blake.

A couple if minutes went by before I felt my phone vibrate on my lap. I picked it up and unlocked my screen, revealing her text.

From: Lola
I have no clue where I am. It seems slightly familiar, maybe where Blake fights? I'm ok don't worry, I love you, stay safe x

I smiled knowing that there's hope I can get Lola back tonight. I drove back onto the road and towards the place that has Lola.
