Day 18: Soulmate AU

It was a nice summer day and everyone in 1-A was relaxing in one of the school pools or around the pool. Izuku and Denki were sitting in the flat chairs soaking in the sun instead and Eevee, Katsuki and the rest were jumping, splashing, and even playing chicken with the others.

Currently, it was Eevee on top of Katsuki vs Mina on top of Kirishima. So far it was a fair race but Mina tried to get the eevette to flinch however her quirk was nullified due to the other in her water fox form. She can alter her water DNA to match the pH of the pinkette's acid.

Eevee smirked and with momentum and the stability of her boyfriend below she froze Mina to Kirishima's shoulders and yanked them out of the water eventually and flipped them behind the duo resulting in a massive splash. Some of it splashed on Izuku, causing him to squeak from the sudden cold, then laughed at his brother being vice-gripped by Eevee's thighs.

"E-eeve, you are crusshhing my feshhh."

"Oops, sorry Pommy," Eevee replied before jumping off his shoulders and massaging his cheeks and jaws. "Eevee sometimes forgets her legs became stronger."

"Worth it..." He mumbled as she proceeded to massage his temples. He then heard giggles from Mina, Sero, and Toru. "What are you extra's fucking giggling about?"

"Well, bro. The open flirt you two have is funny, I would have thought you would rather die before doing any of that." Sero replied and dodged a pool-weight stick the blonde threw at him.

"Yeah, Bakubabe. You and Eevee are such polar opposites I'm trying to figure out how you two became a pair." Mina replied with a glint of an I-will-get-the-truth-now look. "How did you two become a pair? And if you can't tell me I am sure I can get the information from Eevee."

Eevee smiled for a few seconds before frowning, tilting her head as if to remember something. "...Eevee does not remember fully how it started. All Eevee knows was it happened with a head injury, everything else that day seemed blurred."

Everyone looked at the eevette with a curious and sad look and a few looked at Bakugou who was hugging his girlfriend. "Well, we know it began when that bastard kicked you at Ramnas park and I gave him a thorough lashing."

Katsuki growled and looked at his hands, remembering that he couldn't use his Quirk at this time. He still wishes he could have blasted that guy's leg off. "He kicked you upside the head leaving you unconscious and barely responsive. It was a really good thing Recovery Girl was there or it might have been worse."

Izuku nodded in confirmation. "I remember that, and it has changed your personality a bit. You are still eccentric but you seemed to have less of a reserve filter, not to mention speaking in third person. I actually find that cute."

Everyone giggled and agreed that Eevee's voice and her speech made her much cuter. "Eevee remembers the caramel scent, and at that time it made me feel safe and I didn't want to leave the person who had it. It was not until later when my mom told me that it is a normal feeling for Soulmates to have."

"Soulmates?" Mina asked, stars appearing in her eyes. "You two are Soulmates!? That is very uncommon, let alone find one so early."

"Yeah, and I didn't know about this until Ophi called me too, asking how I felt about Eeve. I decided to be honest as it felt weird not being near her and I needed fucking answers." Katsuki replied, looking at his girl with a smile. "I can't imagine being with anyone else besides her, I don't think anyone would compare to Fennec."

"Except Ochakhoe, she is still trying to win you over." Mina laughed then stopped when she heard Eevee growl.

"She tries and Eevee will force water down her throat and either tie her to a stick and BBQ her pit style or throw her off the bridge." Eevee smirked and emphasized her point by moving some of the water around her.

"I don't think filling her up would work Eevee," Izuku said and she gave him a look of why not. "Uraraka is already a beached whale as it is, we just need a harpoon to drag her back into the ocean. I am sure the megalodon would have her."

"Yeah but she will pop since she can't handle 3 inches."

At that, everyone laughed at the roast and continued their day. Eevee and Katsuki even had a little extra fun when Mineta made a suggestion to play Marco-Polo and Eevee was the Marco. She knew where he was and subtly decided to be more handsy, despite the blonde's protest.
