Day 23: POV Outsider

What makes a good mate? What is the difference between flirting and downright harassment? How can one tell the difference between reciprocation and assault?

Mineta Minoru wanted to know exactly the difference and how to apply it to himself. He had no filter or preservation when it came to expressing the ample breasts and volumizing ass of females and it had either gotten him detention or attacked by the teachers and offendees. The purplette nearly got a restraining order for being too handsy from one student.

It was until one particular event with one of his classmates that made him think of the consequences and since then he could not bring himself to even touch a girl. After what Izuku has been through, how can he touch a body that was not really his, let alone scar a body so sacred?

Mineta sighed and looked across the garden where he was hidden from all but eagle eyes, but he was able to see everyone else around. Eevee and Katsuki were playing with water bubbles the eevette was creating and moving, a few times she would flirt with him physically and close and Katsuki would just yell at her but kept a blush along his face.

She was very flirtatious only with her partner and never did it to her other classmates. Mineta only guessed because of her fennec instincts, and bonds to one person for life. The duo was very loyal to each other despite their dynamics, and the purplette could only look at them in envy.

The next couple he looked at was Momo and Mina, both just calm together yet they verbally flirted in public with close friends. Mina flirts more than the other but as Mineta just found out, she has a more exotic vocabulary with Momo behind closed doors. Again things like that if he had done that he would have been beaten up the moment a syllable left his lips, yet they are comfortable with their partners flirting.

Is that the key? Comfort? Now that he had thought about it, he was harassing the girls since day one of school and it took some time for the couples to build a relationship. Well, besides Katsuki and Eevee, the others had a slow build.

Another is a type of bond. What does it mean to have a bond? How is it different from friendship? Is this another that Mineta lacks? Is this a type where a couple trusts each other with more than just their heart? Was there maybe hope for him to have something just as sacred, or was he doomed to remain alone because of his perverted ways? He had to make the right choice, or he would remain alone without a counterpart.

These observations left more questions and answers and no matter how many books of romance he has read, the no. 1 class student was lost. Sighing in frustration, he got up and left his room to go to the one person who may help him with more answers. He just hopes that Midnight will be gentle with her methods.
