They couldn't believe their luck.

Inasa and Shouto were paired together for some mountain training to better synchronize their Quirk unification. However, three hours in a snowstorm appeared out of nowhere and they had to hide in a massive cave to wait it out.

For six hours...

"I'm sorry, Young Shoto, you and Young Inasa have to wait it out. The snowstorm will be mixed with ice and it will camp there until the front decides to move it out. They are estimating 6 hours at least."

"Thanks for the information, All Might. Inasa and I have provisions to last us a while, and tools to keep warm for a few hours." Shouto replied and looked around the cave with Inasa's headlight. "I also see a few brushes and old wood we could use to make a firepit, we will let you know if anything becomes dire."

"zzzGood, keep kzzz postkzzz..."

"Did we lose contact?" Inasa asked, walking towards the shorter teen and looking at the communicator with slight worry. "Is the battery dead?"

"No, the storm blocked the signals." Shouto replied and put the communicator away. "C'mon, Inasa. We need to gather wood for the firepit. The storm is going to last at least six hours."

"Right on, I can gather the planks ahead," Inasa replied, running towards the edge of what looked like a closed mine. "We can use these, right?"

Shouto walked towards the closed door and put an ear on the entrance, listening for anything unusual. It had no warning sign so he was not sure if it was a dead tunnel or closed for some dangerous reason.

"Everything sounds clear, so I can say these planks are safe. Just be on guard..."

Inasa nodded and the duo pulled the planks off the door and stopped briefly to listen for something dangerous that may come around. After a moment's pause and nothing happened, they got a large stack from a hidden dusty wood pile a few feet in. Not long after Inasa blew the dust off the wood piles and Shouto ignited them with his fire.

The warmth was nice with the fire crackling and it satiated their comfort for a while until sunset, and the winds somehow found the cave entrance, blasting them with bitter cold and causing the flames to dance wildly.

Inasa was starting to feel the burn of the frostbite and was about to ask his partner what would be the next step until he noticed that Shouto too was feeling the effects of the temperature drop. The wind was preventing him from igniting his right side, and Inasa could not control wind sheers that large just yet.

So the tall teen took the initiative and grabbed Shouto with his cape and brought them further inside the tunnel they had opened. He had sighed in massive relief as he could barely feel the wind from the storm and he was able to use his Quirk to keep the bitterness away.

"It's getting stronger..." Inasa stated before looking down at Shouto, that he was shivering from the beginning stages of hypothermia. "Shouto, can you use your Quirk?"

Shouto just shook his head. "N-no, my temp dropped too low, I can't even ignite." The smaller teen shivered again and then cuddled closer to his partner. "You feel hot."

Inasa took note of the hot statement and wrapped him tighter. "I ain't that hot, Shouto. You are in early stages."

Shouto then smiled. "That is not the 'hot' I'm mentioning."

Inasa blinked a few times before blushing at what his partner meant. "Well, at least it gives us time to ourselves for cuddles without the sourpuss around."

Shouto chuckled. "I am sure he is having a heart attack as we speak." He said and beckoned Inasa closer for a kiss, cuddling ever closer into the taller teen's body for more heat and wrapping the cape around him like a blanket.

Inasa chuckled at Shouto's catlike personality, before wrapping around him tightly. He will enjoy this cuddling, without the lo- in-the-ass shitty father named Endeavor. "Good night, Shouto."
