[Alhaitham went on a week business trip to Liyue. And of course, he didn't forget to buy souvenirs for Wifey.]

"Veh. I'm going to Liyue next week." Alhaitham meekly stated as his hands holding the cutlery rest on the sides of his food. Evident sadness is sprawled on the man's face however, others wouldn't call it as such. The man in front of him looked up from his plate. His blonde hair swayed as his carmine eyes glimmered with excitement.

"You are?!!" He beamed.

"At least look a little sad wife. I'm not really as excited as you are of this." Was Alhaitham's strong reaction upon seeing the almost estatic look on his wife's face.

"Oh don't be such a baby!" Kaveh rolled his eyes in annoyance. "It's just one week Haiyi! You even manage to not see me for nearly a month when you were trying to kick Azar from his position."

"You weren't safe here that time." Alhaitham said in protest. "Besides I was only doing that because you said the old man was being too much."

Alhaitham could only look away as Kaveh gaped at him in disbelief. It was true, the previous grand sage Azar was being too much but to Alhaitham, it didn't really matter so as long as he could keep his job. However it became a different story when one night his wife came home, a crying mess and a bit intoxicated bawling his eyes out to his husband about how their previous grand sage was such an asshole requesting Kaveh an infrastructure that will be used as an animal experiment chamber. Of course his heartful of gold wife said no because Kaveh cannot fathom the thought of hurting animals for the sake of knowledge and so he received many berating words from the old goon. The blonde fell asleep after those rants and a days he was offered a project in the dessert, when he came back. His husband then magically became the acting grand sage.

Alhaitham didn't tell Kaveh anything afterwards, he feared the man will blame himself for the death of an old man just because he complained to his overly capable husband.

"You unbelievable little-"

"What got you so excited about the mention of Liyue anyway?" To not cause a fight that might even delay his cozy time with his wife for the rest of the week the current grand sage of Sumeru immediately rose to his seat and took over his wife's seat by seating the man to his lap, his hands wrapping tightly around Kaveh's waist as the blonde could do nothing but just narrow his intoxicating carmine hues to his husband who returned it with an innocent blink. "Anything in Liyue that interest you wife?"

Kaveh closed his mouth shut. He's not stupid, he knows Alhaitham like the back of his hand. And as much as he loves his husband, there is no way he'll tell him anything.

The last time he said something he likes, the man went ahead and bought it, and as endearing as it sounds, Alhaitham bought the goddamn museum he said he likes. A GODDAMN MUSEUM.

WHAT THE HELL IS KAVEH GOING TO PUT IN THAT EMPTY BUILDING NOW?!

Hell would freeze over before Kaveh would express his interest in that floating Jade Chamber in Liyue. He most certainly only likes to admire it from afar.

"I heard from Traveler that there are many interesting stones in Liyue. He said that since its home to the Geo Archon, the stones they have there are exquisite." Kaveh wasn't lying. He was really interested in the stones Liyue has, his mother is a jewellery crafter so, even though Kaveh is an architect the jeweler in his blood is screaming in curiousity. "I kinda wanna see some pictures of it."
