An Enemy's Enemy is a Friend

[Prequel to Going Home]

[Haiyi, are you sure?]

"Definitely." Alhaitham answered quicker than a bunny. Kaveh, his boyfriend of three months and his best friend decided to have a double date together.

The two wanted to introduce each other's lover and who is Alhaitham to say no to that?!

Here is Kaveh proudly bragging him, he's definitely going for it. And so he wholeheartedly agreed, anything for his most beloved.

If Kaveh tells him he's a dog then he will definitely be a wolf for his beloved.

[Really? What about work?]

Alhaitham's eyes coldly glance at the people cowering inside the room, not daring to utter a single sound as their boss is talking to his lover.

"Don't worry, I haven't used up all of my paid day off for this year yet."

Alhaitham nonchalantly stated causing Dehya and Nilou to close their eyes and pray that no laugh, sigh or even a single sound would come out of their mouth.

What was that movie? A quiet place?

Right now, they're the quiet office.

Any noise that might make their boss' husband-to-be suspicious is bound to be the last sound they make before they'll be drag to the depths of hell.

[Then, tomorrow okay! I'll wait for you at my shop. Pick me up after work okay?]

"Yes dear, be good and I'll see you later."

The instant Alhaitham's phone let out a beeping sound indicating that the call has ended, only then did the people in the room relax.

"I want to hear no trouble that could cause this double date to be ruined tomorrow."

Everyone bowed their heads in understanding. In short, no reports of gunwars or whatever.

No nothing.

Tomorrow is a peaceful day, and peaceful day it shall be.

Kaveh smiled dazzlingly as usual, his blonde locks bouncing as he toddled happily over to his best friend who was also all smiles as the two buried themselves in each other's embrace, talking about how much they miss each other and whatnot.

So, this was his best friend, Tignhari. Quite fitting of his florist occupation. In all green, his short black hair made him look youthful albeit a similar age to him. He heard enough about this man from his lover that he could memorise everything with a snap. The man is treating his lover very warmly, like a sibling.

Alhaitham found it really adorable. Very endearing indeed.

What's not cute and endearing is a familiar face standing in front him with the same look of surprise dawning on his face.

Well, well, well.

In front of him stands detective Cyno of the Matra department of Sumeru. The guy always after his ass, not literally. Is standing right in front of him.

Being a godfather of an underworld organizations has its many opponents, the people of justice is part of those enemies.

Take this guy for example. Alhaitham is making his job easier for him and yet he still has the nerve to find faults with Alhaitham just so he could be sent to jail.
