10:43am
Adalia woke up that morning not quite remembering the events that took place the night before. When she finally did, she squealed. Yes, squealed. She remembered Caden's curls forming into waves and sticking to his forehead and the car's windows fogging. There was a bit of pain (less than she expected) and a bit of pleasure (less than she expected). Her favorite memory was the sweet shiver in the end. It didn't last as long as she was anticipating, but that's okay. It had happened with someone special to her, and that's what matters.
She reluctantly got out of bed to look at herself in the mirror. She smiled at the purple stains traveling from her collar to her neck. Other than that, she still looked the same. Same face, same hair, same size boobs, same everything.
She sure as hell felt different. Older, and for once, experienced. She had gone all the way. She was no longer a virgin. It had happened.
And she fucking loved that it did.

"I love you."
"I'm speechless."
"You're supposed to say it back, Caden."
"You and I both know that I love you."
"True."
He smiled at her before throwing another fry into his mouth. Adalia looked at him, and just felt the need to kiss him (and do other things as well). He wore a plain blue baseball tee with red sleeves, dark washed jeans, and some converse. Adalia glanced down at her brown combat boots, faded skinny jeans, and baggy, gray top. She side glanced, and in her peripheral vision, she could see her own dark, frizzy mess of hair.
Then she thought of Paige and her high ponytail, rolled up and stopping right above the ankle skinny jeans, florescent pink oversized top, and cute vans.
Adalia sat there in the back booth of the town's diner with her shoulder against Caden's. She stayed quiet, studying and comparing outfits.
Caden's arm being placed over her shoulders made her jump. "You okay?" he asked her. She looked into his amazing, galaxy eyes, and felt something rise in the pit of her stomach. She nodded. Caden smiled, and said, "Good".
She leaned further into him, feeling his body heat radiate onto her. Caden was so warm and beautiful. "I love you, Caden."
Caden's hand stopped mid-air on its journey to his mouth, and his eyes closed. "Adalia, that will never get it old." She felt herself smile the brightest smile she has ever encountered. "I love you, too. Please feel the need to remind whenever and wherever."
Still smiling that blinding smile, she nodded, and rested her head on his shoulder. She grabbed her own handful of fries and chucked then into her mouth one by one.
"Are you feeling okay?" Caden asked her after some minutes. Her head turned as she leaned back from his side, to see his face. In all seriousness, he stared at her, waiting for an answer.
"Yeah, why?" She asked, feeling the worry fill her stomach, her heart clenching.
His eyebrows raised, he looked at her in disbelief. "Are you sore or anything?"
She sat there, trying to put two and two together, but she was just lost. So fucking lost. "From what?"
He scoffed, shaking his head, pausing to make sure she wasn't bullshitting, and then continued to shake his head when he realized she was completely serious. Then he started laughing.
