Chapter 1 - New Prize

The three teenage girls were leaning on the outside of the arcade building as the time grew closer to babysitting hour. One by one each kid arrived, leaving Will to be dropped off last. "If anything happens, just ask Windy or Lizzie for a ride home early okay! Otherwise, 9 o'clock on the dot!" Joyce calls out to her son, making the teens smile as the young boy walks up to them.

"Got it!" Will replies as he enters.

"Don't worry, we got him!" Bella calls out, waving to the woman.

"You be careful Bella, let me know if you need anything!" she calls out to the teen.

"Will do, thanks Mrs. Byers." she replies before quickly following behind Will.

Lizzie and Windy share a look before following their friend into the loud arcade. "No! No! No!" Dustin shouts at his friends as the teens watch from afar. "I hate this overpriced bullshit! Son of a bitch! Piece of shit." Dustin complains as he loses, kicking the machine.

"You're not nimble enough. But you'll get there one day. But until then Princess Daphne is still mine." Lucas taunts his friend.

"Whatever. I'm still top on Centipede and Dig Dug." Dustin argues.

"Not as of recently, because you, my dear brother, have been demoted to second place." Windy says to her brother, causing the group to look at the trio.

Dustin looks at her with wide eyes, "At which one?"

"Dig dug." she replies simply.

At that, the group of boys rush over to that very arcade machine with the girls in tow. "You're kidding me. No, no, no." Dustin complains as he sees that his sister was telling him the truth.

"Who's Mad Max?" Will questions.

"Better than you?" Keith chimes into the conversation.

"Is it you?" Mike asks, earning an eye roll from the teen boy.

Keith scoffs, "You know I despise Dig Dug."

"The who is it?" "Spill it Kieth." The boys question him.

"You want information, then I need something in return." Keith reminds the pre-teens.

"No, no, no. No way. You're not getting a date with her." Mike denies.

Keith looks past them to the three girls, "You guys have options."

"I am not pimping out my sister." Dustin denies.

"Lizzie will eat you for breakfast, don't even try." Lucas tells the teen.

"Don't even look at Bella." Will firmly states, glaring at the teen.

"Please, as if you guys can even talk to them." Keith sasses them, moving past the boys approaching the trio. "Hello ladies."

Lizzie looks him up and down, "Not in your lifetime." she tells him.

Windy raises an eyebrow, "Not with that attitude."

Keith sighs before looking towards Bella. He doesn't even get a word out before the previous two girls just say, "No." Their glares were enough of a warning to make him walk away.

"Hey guys, where are Mike and Will?" Bella questions, seeing two missing from the group.

"Uh," Dustin looks around quickly before spotting them, "By the door." he informs the teen.

Bella makes her way over to them seeing them chatting, "Hey you two okay?"

Will looks at her with wide eyes before nodding, "Yeah, just needed some air." he lies.
