Hanging out with Ethan since Noah left was a comfort for Katherine. Ethan was fun, carefree, funny and nice. But her heart was Noah's. Even when time had passed, her heart still ached for Noah. Whenever Ethan and Katherine were in the car traveling, they went to a beach or found a new adventure to explore, Katherine felt almost complete and healed. Almost. Ethan managed to take her mind off of Noah. But when she was alone, Noah was all she could think about as if he waa torturing her even though he wasn't around. It was always a painful reminder that he wasn't there and would never come back.
Katherine walked into Noah's home and looked around, looking for Noah and walked around the house in silence. She walked into the hallway. Hoping to find him somewhere.
"Katherine?" Katherine heard a familiar voice and turned seeing Noah and her face lit up and she ran towards him and hugged him tightly and fell into his arms.
"Noah," Katherine murmured into his ear. "You're here."
"I'm here." Noah said and pulled away.
"I thought I would never see you again."
"You're not serious, right?" Katherine heard Ethan chuckle and turned the other way seeing Ethan.
"What are you doing here?" Katherine asked. "How did you get in here?"
"Come on, Kat." Ethan sighed and walked towards her. "Choose me, I never left you." Ethan murmured and he touched her cheek and rubbed it.
"Katherine, it's always been me." Noah said and took her hand and she pulled away from Ethan and looked into Noah's eyes. "You know me."
"He left you, what makes you think he still loves you?" Ethan asked.
"Choose me." Noah pleaded.
"No, choose me." Ethan pleaded.
"Katherine, you know me, you know I never stopped loving you. Think about it." Noah said and held both of her hands.
"What are you talking about?" Katherine asked and raised an eyebrow.
Katherine's eyes widened and she quickly sat up from the passanger seat and looked around and seeing Ethan driving the car. What a strange dream. Katherine thought to herself.
