Valons POV

"Have you talked to May?" I asked once Hunter opened the door.

"Well hello to you, Valon," Hunter said when she answered the door.

"Have you?" I repeated the question, not caring for formalities at this moment.

"No. She's been ignoring me."

I sighed, not sure what to do at this point.

"Have you?" She asked.

"No," I shook my head.

"Did something happen after the Vigil?" She asked with a worried look.

I paused, wondering if I should tell her or not. I nodded but didn't explain anything further.

"What happened?" She crossed her arms and furrowed her brows?"

"That's not important right now, I think something is wrong."

"It has something to do with Dana, doesn't it?" she asked.

I gave her a pointed look.

"What makes you ask that?" I asked curiously.

"I've always thought something was up with her. She's always been possessive and controlling when it comes to May. I never thought she would hurt her b-, " She began to say but was soon cut off when the sound of a phone began to ring from somewhere within the house.

"Sorry, hold on," She said before going inside.

I turned and let my eyes roam over the empty street, hoping May would suddenly appear even though I knew exactly where she was.

I rubbed my temples to ease a little bit of unease. I felt when my eyes spotted the U Haul parked in front of May's house down the street.

What the Fuck is going on? I frowned.

"Valon?" I turned around to see Hunter with a worried look on her face.

"My mom just called. Dana stopped by to let her know May quit," She said, worry and fear was etched onto her face.

"I don't know what's been going on but I just know something is up. May wasn't sure about the job at first but then she told me how excited she was because she had another reason to leave the house. She would never quit, and she'd certainly never send Dana to tell my mom that. She would have told her herself."

The unease only started to grow further and further causing my heart to tug me in the direction of May's house. I turned around and stalked towards May's house, adrenaline starting to pump through my body.

'What are you going to do?"

"Stay here and call the cops," I said without looking back to her, still following the imaginary rope wrapped around my heart.
