Shinobu also doesn't know how this happened. She just craved some food randomly and now she's stuck at a waiting shed because it's raining and she forgot her umbrella
"When will luck be on my side" She said to herself in frustration. "I can't even call Mitsuri to help me because she doesn't have a car" She sat down and leaned back. She was clearly frustrated
"I can't believe the first thing I think of when I'm in a mess is immediately Mitsuri. I'm so pathetic" Shinobu said as part of her cycle when she is in a pickle
Frustration — Calling for help — Self-deprecation — Burst of determination
She is now at the "Self-deprecation" part
"I don't want to update Mitsuri too because she'll probably laugh at me" Shinobu sighed "She should laugh at me though, I mean only an idiot would forget their umbrella" Shinobu was on the verge of tears before standing up and wiping the tears welling up
"Why am I crying? Would crying do anything? No, I should make a plan instead" This was the burst of determination
After a few minutes of brainstorming, Shinobu could only think of one thing to do. Run in the rain. She's only a 5 minute walk from her apartment. If she runs, she may only be in the rain for 2 mins
She smirked, proud of herself for not giving up and making a plan. She was about to run when she heard a familiar voice to her right
"You can't seriously be thinking of running in the rain, right?" Shinobu turned her head and she locked eyes with the person. It was Giyu, holding a clear umbrella, walking towards the walking shed
"Why are you here?" Shinobu asked as Giyu arrived at the waiting shed "I was just buying something. I should be asking why you're here because it seems you are stranded without an umbrella while it's pouring" Giyu chuckled
"You're laughing at me?" Shinobu raised an eyebrow "Your situation is a bit funny, you're lucky I'm here" Shinobu scoffed
"Lucky how exactly?" Giyu rolled his eyes subtlely but Shinobu caught it "Not the sass" She scoffed
"I have an umbrella, you don't. It's raining. I think you can connect the dots" Giyu said, condescendingly
"Okay, yeah you can help me, now what?" Giyu chuckled "Will you ask for help?" Shinobu rolled her eyes
"Usually the people with the means to help will just offer their help. Did you know that?" Giyu rolled his eyes too "Where did you learn that?" Shinobu asked, hitting Giyu on the shoulder, clearly annoyed
"Sorry, Mitsuri" Giyu said with a chuckle "I'm already somewhat offering help, now just ask" Giyu said before turning away
After a few seconds though, he turned back with a raised eyebrow "Don't tell me you're pride is stopping you from asking, Kocho"
Giyu had a sly smile in amusement after realizing that it was true. Shinobu was too prideful to ask
"If you won't ask, I'll leave" Giyu threatened which forced Shinobu's hand "Okay, I'll ask" Shinobu sighed
"Giyu, help me" Shinobu cringed at herself while Giyu smirked as he realized what he could do "Say the magic word" Shinobu's eyes widened in shock
"Giyu, I already suppressed my pride a little bit to just ask. You can't ask me to say the magic word"
"Kocho, it's just a word. Say it and we can go home" Shinobu hit his shoulder again, now in frustration "I'm not asking for much here" Giyu chuckled, still amused
"Are you doing this because of last week?" Giyu shook his head "I already told you. I don't care"
"So why are you doing this? Why are you making me suffer?" Shinobu asked with a fake crying tone
"Because I like your reactions"
"You like seeing me suffer?"
"Your reactions are cute"
