Taylor isn't used to not being able to hug Ricky, interwine their arms while walking or leaning into his side at the table.

Sure, she understands where Nini's coming from, and she understands Ricky's pov aswell.

But not even a hug? Not a simple hug to greet him?

When he just awkwardly patted her shoulder, fuck that hurts.

And let's not get started on the looks their friends gave both of them.

She couldn't just stand there while feeling so embarassed, so she excused herself to the bathroom.

It suddenly feels like she and Ricky went from childhood best friend to two strangers who met a week ago.

Her mood had been off since that day, and she is not the only one who realized that.

"Taylor? Are you okay, sweetheart?" Her mom asks gently as she walks into her bedroom where the teen is layong on her bed.

"I'm fine." She mumbles into her pillow.

The woman sighs, knowing her duaghter is lying. "Do I need to ask Ricky to come over?"

"No!" She instantly sits up, repeatedly shaking her head.

She frowns, she knows that Ricky is Taylor's person, whenever she was upset Ricky would be the one she goes to. He always managed to cheer her up.

There are countless of times she checked on her daughter at night after sonething happened to find her cuddled uo with the boy fast asleep.

"Did something happen between you and Ricky?" She sits down on the bed next to Tay.

"You can say that."

Her mom gives her a look, telling her ro continue.

"He has a girlfriend now.." She starts. "And I guess I just am kinda jealous because he suddenly has no time for me."

"He pribably is just in thw 'puppy love' phase. It'll pass." Her mom tries to reassure her.

"Then why can he spend time with Ej, or Gina but not me? I just feel... so left out lately." She admits. "It's obvious they know something I don't, and I saw a groupchat with everyone in it except me on Ash her phone."

"Maybe try talking to them, Taylor. They won't know you are upset till you tell them."

"But if I tell them that, I have to tell the full truth." She whispers.

The brunette frowns at her daughters words. "And what's that?"

She bites her lip. "I love him, mom..I really do." She tries her hardest to keep her tears in.

However when an arm is wrapped around her and she is pulled into her mothers arms she feels the tears slide down her cheeks.

She couldn't keep it anymore.

She can't keep botteling up her emotions.
