Taylor Andrews used to tell Ricky everything. And vice versa. There wasn't one secret between them. They knew everything about the other.

Taylor told Ricky when she got her first period, she would tell him whenever she went trough something embarrassing.

And in return he would tell her everything aswell, like today.

He had texted her to come the 'house' in his backyard. It isn't actually a house, just a very small place which they called their house when they were younger.

It's the place they hang out with, the place they would share secrets.

So she knew he had something to tell her. She went in there with a smile, and walked out with tears threating to spill from her eyes.

Ricky had broke her heart without even knowing he did so.

Almost a year ago Taylor realized that she infact was capable of liking her best friend as more then that.

She realized that she had feelings for him, but honestly, she thought it wasn't that serious.

She had known him her entire life, she was bound to for once in her life have a little crush on him, doesn't she?

But it wasn't just a little crush.
Not anymore atleast.

13 year old Taylor Andrews would look at Ricky and think 'Oh, okay he is pretty cute.'

13 year old her would realize that her feelings had changed a bit.

She would also say it wasn't that serious, that it would just pass by.

That she didn't love him like that. That that wasn't possible.

And 14 year old Taylor Andrews would realize that she infact was in love with him.

That it was possible to love him like that.

She realized it wasn't just a stupid crush that would pass by in a few weeks.

She realized that she didn't just love him, she is in love with him. 

She realized that when hear heart broke into a thousand pieces when he told her he liked this girl from school.

"We have a class together, and she is so sweet, Tay. And very pretty aswell. I really like her."

When he said that she understood she didn't just like him, and that this wouldn't just pass by.

That this was much more serious then she thought.

She is in love with her best friend.

Current time

"Hey Rick." Taylor says as she answers his phone call.

"Taylor! You have to come the house now!" He says exited. "It's important."

She frowns as she sits up in her bed. "Okay? I'll put on some shoes and see you there."

What does he have to tell her now? Oh, who is she kidding? Everytime he tells her to meet him at the house he starts talking about Nini.

How sweet she was, how pretty, how good she can sing, how smart she is an you can continue from there.

To be honest, when she first realized she loved him she was scared as shit and actually ignored him for a few weeks.

Then he showed up in her room, telling her a billion sorry's, he kept on apologizing, even though he did nothing wrong.

"I don't know why you are mad at me, I have no clue what I did but I'm sorry. Please forgive me, I miss my best friend."

When he said that, she just couldn't avoid him anymore, and for a while after that he actually stopped mentioning Nini.

Till one day he started again, she almost felt her heart break once again, but she pushed past it and acted happy for him.

And after a while she actually started to feel happy for him.

She knew that he really, really liked that Nini girl, she could tell by the way he talks about her. And the way he smiled whenever he did so.

So if he would be happy with her, then so be it. And she accepted that.

Even if she won't be happy.
