Abel Hershel Rosenthal.
Age 19.
Became an orphan at six years old.
His only relative was his grandmother, a mixed-race, well-known seamstress and former model, Janne Marie Rosenthal.
Raviel drew a deep breath and put the files down on the table. The humans have picked a 'perfect' candidate for this university this time. They must have been desperately seeking their suspect in that case. On the other hand, he probably wouldn't like this. That man despised this kind of method and Raviel was certain that once they met, he would do everything in his ability to protect this little lamb.
As he searched for his phone in one of his desk drawers, he lamented the moment when technology was not all the rage and they were using snail mail to send their messages. At the present time, everything was recorded on either a computer or a small device they called a 'cellular phone' and although it offered a wide range of convenience, it was also tiresome to deal with. He searched for his phone number but something flashed in the corner of his eye. Slowly, he turned his face and saw a huge owl with white and gray feathers hooting at him.
"Come inside, asshole."
His voice was muffled but the 'owl' heard it loud and clear. The creature transformed into a figure that Raviel was more familiar with ---tall, slim with a handsome facial structure and a kind smile that melts anyone's heart. Well, it melts even his heart.
"I'm back!" He made an announcement so boisterously while opening the balcony doors. "Did you miss me? Please, be honest."
"I don't miss you."
"Hey!"
"You told me to be honest."
Gavril Siegmund Frösén, the chairman of Saint Constantine was also his mate. He just arrived from a trip abroad to settle some disputes between the vampire covens at a university in the South-Ease Asia. "I brought you dried mangoes," he said excitedly.
The corner of Raviel's lips curved slightly at the sight of the other and he pulled him by the waistline to make him sit on his lap. "Your little lamb has arrived."
"Oh?" Gavril's eyes sparkled at the news, putting his arms around him, he gave him a quick kiss. "How is he?"
"He's...amusing."
"Really?"
"Yes, he reminds me of you."
Gavril chuckled at the statement. "Maybe you really did miss me."
"I did not."
"Lies." Gavril stood from his lap and removed his coat.
"Are you going to meet him tonight?"
"Yes. But I have to leave again tomorrow. I have to catch an earlier flight."
"Or you can just fly."
"Silly, why should I tire my wings when humans have planes?"
Raviel pursed his lips. "Fair enough. How long are you going to be gone this time?"
Gavril heard the tone in his voice and he glanced at him over his shoulder. "I'm going to take a bath. Care to join me?"
Chuckling, Raviel removed his coat and followed. "You didn't answer my question."
"We'll talk about it. While taking a bath..." As Gavril headed into his bathroom, Raviel couldn't do anything but shake his head. Obviously, he already lost the game before it even started...
