Angela's Arc- another lost soul

Olette was surprised to see Claude here and Claude landed on the ground "what are you doing here brother" Cedric said as Claude walked forward

"Olette Diana Twilight" Claude said "y.yes" Olette said as Claude went onto one knee and bowed his head "I came here to offer my thanks" Claude said

"Unafraid of the fenrir cub you offered it Aid to prevent war between humans and demons, you even took a blame for a crime you did not commit" Claude said

"As demon lord..." Claude said looking up at her "I offer you my utmost thanks" Claude said sounding grateful 'he came to save me...and clear my name' Olette thought to herself touched

"I'll return you to your estate" Claude said as he summoned a carriage with flying horses and he brought Olette into the carriage

Olette's pov

I looked out the window seeing the buildings lit up from the sky is so gorgeous "so beautiful" I said admiring the view

"You look like an ordinary girl at the moment..." Claude said "I won't lie to you I wish I was acting normal" I said making him fall silent

"In fact I'm anything but normal" I said "You've made that very clear you are a person who will never cry" Claude said making me sweatdrop

"Why is the reason you want to marry me is what I want to know" Claude said I turned away from the window and put my hands in my lap

"Even if I did tell you I doubt you'll believe me so easily" I said "That's up for me to decide" Claude said as I thought for a moment until I decided to spill my guts

"Alright I'll talk...this world is an otome game and I'm from another world that is not that much different to this one and I just want to live a peaceful life with my soulmate" I said

"Who's your soulmate?" Claude said "you" I said "I see now I understand" Claude said as the carriage suddenly disappeared "your mocking me" Claude  said we started falling

I wasn't that afraid of falling but then Claude caught me and held me close I felt warm inside I saw a shooting star go off behind him

We arrived at my estate "that's was rather dangerous...yet fun" I replied this somewhat amused Claude "I will attend the ball" Claude said

"Really" I said acting like a puppy getting a treat from it's owner "to repay my debt to you it is what you wanted isn't it" Claude said

I looked at him with wide eyes "it is but...why are you smiling" I said surprised "I wanted...to see you cry" Claude said smiling then he teleported away

'I made Claude smile...progress' I thought to myself as I walked into my mansion and squealed happily to myself running to my room lunging on the bed and swooning over Claude

The next day...

I'm now being stripped of my pharmaceutical company by prince Cedric 'good thing I've got a plan for such a contingency' I thought to myself

3rd person pov

"Hey Olette" jasper said "oh hello jasper lovely day isn't it" olette said "Should you really be so cheerful...did your engagement really fall through" jasper said

"I've cut ties with prince Cedric so I don't have any interest in talking about him...did you do the thing that I asked" Olette said "uh...yeah I did" jasper said

Later at the demon lord's castle...

"So on that note, let's repair this castle with my pocket money" Olette said sitting at a table with Claude the table full of delicious and sweet pastries

"We can't let humans into the castle... it's blasphemy" beelzebuth said annoyed "I think it's even more blasphemous for a demon lord to live in a castle in a state of disrepair" Olette remarks still smiling

"You can't understand the majesty of this place...this is why I hate humans" beelzebuth said as Olette took a sip of her tea

'He'd be considered a chunibyo in my past life' Olette thought to herself "lord Claude please think of this as helping other's" Olette said

"Helping other's? what do you mean" Claude said sounding confused "I'd like to hire the workers that were unreasonably let go by prince Cedric to fix this castle" Olette said

"Why is a duke's daughter such as yourself going to such lengths" Claude said which made Olette drop her smile "that man is anyone but my father" Olette said in an uneasy way which Claude noticed

"As for why I'm going to such lengthy it's because I want my darling soulmate to feel comfortable in his own castle" Olette said swooning

Which made Claude sweatdrop "but also to help people" Olette added making Claude look at her "I know you plan to refuse but..." "I'll leave it to you" Claude said cutting her off

"Are you sure" Olette said surprised "Keith, we haven't been receiving your salary or subsidy for some time" Claude said "I'm sure a noble has been embezzling our funds" Keith said

"Look into it and get back what we're owed, I'll use the funds to repair the castle" Claude said making Olette look at him amazed

"Um I've already asked an acquaintance, a reporter named jasper to look into the case, as well" Olette said "You've already taken matters into your own hands" Claude said sounding Slightly impressed

"Of course, I always like to stay ahead of schedule" Olette said as she brought the tea to her lips only for Claude to get super close to her face

"It seems like you really don't like to be in anyone's debt" Claude said "what about you lord Claude why did you agree to my suggestion so easily?" Olette asked

"Who know's" Claude said leaning his face away from Olette who's heart was pounding in her chest 'that was way too close for comfort' Olette thought to herself blushing immensely
