Kayla's Arc- moving in with Noah

Julia had packed up all her belongings which wasn't much considering she was the unloved child of the twilight family she was happy to leave but...

Julia's pov

'I still can't believe this is happening to me...I thought Beatrice was the one supposed to be in my position' I thought to myself

"Of all things for him to suddenly declare that I live with him" I said as I was in the carriage while my luggage was on top

Flashback...

"What you want her to live with you" duke twilight said talking to Noah who had a fake smile towards duke twilight "Well of course if we are to be a married couple we must get used to seeing each other in the same house" Noah said

"But an unmarried lady cannot be in the same place as an unmarried man" duke twilight said angrily "what's the problem with that she is my fiancé after all" Noah said making duke twilight give in to his request

End of Flashback...

I sighed as I pulled out my observations journal and started writing everything down in it...

<I'm now heading towards duke Wynknight's estate as I am to be his soon to be wife...but sometimes I wonder if he's got something planned for me...only time will tell>

<I wonder why he would ever pick an illegitimate child like me to be his fiance, it's hard to understand him but I'm sure at some point I'll be able to poke around in that head of his>

I stopped writing and put my journal away in my pocket "we have arrived my lady" the butler said opening the carriage door for me and helping me from the steps

"Thank you" I said with a smile the butler smiled back at me and took the two bags of luggage from me "Miss Julia" I heard and saw Noah walking over

"I'm glad you could come and join us on such a lovely day" Noah said then eyed the two suitcases I brought with me "is this all you brought?" Noah said

"I don't have many belongings to begin with not that I would want much else than a few books and some clothes" I said

"And this" Noah said looking at my goddess pendant admiring it slightly "it's rather unique I don't think I've ever seen something as elegant as this" Noah said

"It's a special thing to me...I would hate to lose it" I said Noah grabbed my hand "I hope I become one of the people that's special to you as well" Noah said kissing my knuckles

This made me blush immensely "why did you want to marry me" I said making Noah smile and look at me "I thought I already told you I'm in love with you" Noah said gently

3rd person pov

Noah gazed at her lovingly as Julia blushed 'how am I supposed to believe that when you are supposed to fall in love with the female lead Beatrice' Julia thought sadly

"Right...well um...I should get settled into my room" Julia said as she picked up her luggage and walked into the mansion

Noah didn't miss the sad look on her face when he said that he loved her Noah walked into the mansion and saw Julia unpacking her things

"Do you need any help unpacking" Noah said "no I only packed a few books and clothes so I don't need much assistance in unpacking" Julia said

"Are you sure" Noah said suddenly whispering in her ear making her blush immensely 'when did he get behind me he's close to giving me a heart attack' Julia thought to herself freaking out

"Y.yes I'm sure duke Wynknight" Julia said with a slight stutter "yes Noah" Noah said wanting to hear her say his first name

Julia gaped "um..." Julia said looking away nervously "if your not able to say my name how is anyone supposed to know we're a couple" Noah said

Noah had her cornered to the bed post as he leaned his face in waiting to hear her say his name "N...n...Noah" Julia said shyly

"That's it" Noah said and patted her head "you should get dressed for the engagement ball tonight I'll be there for a moment and have Nick Maddocks help you" Noah said

A man with a feminine sort of makeup appeared to help Julia prepare for her engagement ball "are you nervous my dear" nick said

"A little bit...I'm not exactly looking forward to all the attention that will be on me once we get there" Julia said noting how nervous she was

"I'm sure you'll do fine dear do you want to know the smiles that are popular amongst the crowd the Noah Voltaire Wynknight smile" nick said making a smile

"The smile has a way of saying you have no reason to talk to me I'm better than you" nick said 'ah that was my first thought' Julia thought to herself

"Then we have the Vivian shamal smile that gives you the feeling of a vixen" nick said "is that supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing" Julia said

"Take it However you want dear" nick said as the maids finished with her dress and makeup along with her short brown hair

Julia entered Noah's office "I'll be there in just a second let me just..." Noah fell speechless when he gazed upon Julia in the dress he picked for her

Julia was wearing a white satin dress with frills and a red rose imprinted on the dress with her goddess pendant around her neck

'Why is he staring at me like that do I look weird' Julia thought to herself as Noah got up walking towards Julia making her flinch

"You look lovely my dear kitten" Noah said making Julia gape in response "k.k.kitten" Julia said flustered as Noah helps her onto the carriage for their departure to the ball...
