Angela's Arc- Keith's redemption

Keith was in his house only to get ambushed by beelzebuth and Olette who were waiting for him to awaken from his slumber

"Are you awake now" Olette said making Keith's eye's widen in surprise "lady Olette" Keith's said as beelzebuth put a dagger to Keith's throat

"Bel...why are you outside the barrier?" Keith said "you should know" beelzebuth said "Your doing something bad without telling lord Claude aren't you" Olette said with an innocent smile on her face

"I thought it was strange that you stayed quiet about the embezzling for so long... after looking into it" olette said "you found out that I was secretly selling demons" keith said

Olette held out a contract "this is the contract sale for that land" keith said "I pulled a few strings...after all I'm running out of time" Olette said

"Running out of time" keith said confused "You've heard of lady Lilia haven't you though her sword maiden powers won't affect lord Claude's human form..." Olette said seriously

"She can easily defeat him if he awakened his demon form...according to the legend...the demon lord will awaken as a dragon when he can no longer attain his negative emotions" Olette said

"What do you think Humans will do to Trigger that...for instance...they could prove that his Aide betrayed him and make him kill the one he trusted most" Olette said

Hearing this made Keith's eyes widen in shock "lord Claude saved my life...when I was five years old I fell into the garden pond while playing around and almost drowned" keith said

"He could have abandoned a mere servant like me...but he used magic in front of the other servants to save me" keith said

"Because he exposed his powers as a demon lord...he was kicked out of the castle a few years later...but I didn't want him to give up on humans completely" keith said

"I was sure there would come a day when he would obtain human happiness...that's what I believed...but Humans are much dirtier than I thought" keith said

Keith's Flashback...

"You want to kick him off the land he bought..." young keith said shocked "this isn't my signature...forging another person's signature is a serious crime boy" the no good lord said

"But I'll let it slide if you can sell me some demons, since their wortha pretty penny" the no good lord said

End of Flashback...

Olette had a hard time controlling the anger growing within her as she was angered by the no good lord "As a human who can only make human decisions...I thought" keith said

"That the lord might be happier as a demon than a human..." keith said "keith your weakness is you have no human allies" Olette said Keith looked up and looked at Olette "you should make me your ally" Olette said

Olette's pov

I went through the routes Lilia and Cedric tell Claude about Keith's betrayal and then captured him to make ends meet

"It pisses me off...they just shoved his Aide's betrayal in his face and destroyed him" I said running a hand through my hair feeling frustrated

I went to the demon lord's castle to see Lilia and Cedric talking to Claude as I entered quietly crossing my arms listening closely

"Lord Claude keith is making money by selling demons" Lilia said "we have continued our investigation without telling you but Lilia..." I cut off cedric's words

"Your concern is unwarranted" I said making myself known as they turn around to see me Lilia stood up "oh hello lady Olette your as beautiful as ever..." Lilia said a sweet smile on her face

'Stop with your two faced act I'm not falling for it one bit' I thought to myself as I put my hands on my hips "lady Lilia" I said sternly

"I've told you countless times that unless your close you should wait for the person of higher status to greet you first" I said

'In this case I don't intend to be close to you in any way' I thought to myself as I was using my innocent smiling face to fool them

"Looks like you've completely and utterly forgotten" I said as I saw her looking embarrassed and I walked over to Claude

3rd person pov

"So I heard about demons being sold" Olette said "That's right the sales of demon's violates the non-aggression pact" Cedric said

"It doesn't though" Olette said making them look at her like she was crazy "the buying and selling of demons is only questionable on a moral level" Olette said

"B.but don't you feel bad for the demons" Lilia said "Your rather concerned for something that's none of your business" Olette said rather coldly

"Shouldn't you be studying to be the next empress instead of poking your nose where it doesn't belong" Olette said making Lilia cry "your so mean lady Olette" Lilia said

Cedric chased after her as keith entered and went on his knees "lord Claude there is something I must tell you" keith said

"Speak" Claude said "however...please wait until I complete the job lady Olette asked of me" keith said as he bowed his head more

"I cannot leave my mistakes unaddressed...after all, I am your aid" keith said in a determined tone of voice making Olette nod

"I understand...prepare yourself for when the time comes" Claude said making Keith feel like his end is near

Claude's pov

As keith left the room I looked towards Olette "why are you doing this" I said "hm?" Olette said smiling innocently "why are you offering him a chance for redemption" I said

Olette hummed "people have reasons for the things they do...in my opinion everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves" Olette said

"Just like I want to prove to you that I'm serious about my love for you" Olette said 'once again...she's caught me off guard' I thought to myself

Olette walked out of the room and I'm alone thinking to myself 'Olette Diana Twilight...just who are you really'
