Julia and Noah arrived at the ball with the knight's behind him which also included Noah's best knight Adam Taylor himself
"You look stunning" Noah said once again complimenting Julia on her appearance "I don't look that great I just look normal" Julia said humbly
This made Noah smile at how humble she was then they went to the dance floor "would my fiance do me the honors of dancing with me" Noah said holding his hand out for Julia to take
Julia lightly grasped his hand and Noah smiled as he pulled her into his chest making her blush "shall we" Noah said as the music started and they danced
Julia waltzed with Noah "you dance beautifully my dear it seems like there's nothing you can't do" Noah said "I wouldn't say that" Julia said as she purposely stepped on his foot
"Oops my foot slipped" Julia said with a mischievous smirk "oh..." Noah said intrigued by her showing her playful side then at the end of the song he bends her leg in the air while also looking down at her with a sly smile
"We'll see who's more likely to surprise the other" Noah said as Julia just blushed 'this guy is more crafty than I thought' Julia thought to herself
Julia's pov
After the dance with Noah I felt a shiver go up her spine 'I just felt a chill go up my spine was someone watching me...it sure felt like it' I thought to myself
"Well what do we have here if it isn't my dear beloved older sister" I heard and turned towards Erica seeing her look at me with a fake smile
"I see your here I thought you would have chickened out on coming to this ball what do you think my dress is more eye-catching than yours is" Erica said
Hearing her spout such ridiculous things just made me want to laugh slightly in amusement
"considering you've been trying so hard to humiliate me from the day you were born to the day I die..." I said clenching a closed fist
"I wouldn't consider trying to steal the spotlight from you oh dear sister..." I said mockingly as I walked over to get close to her
"But just in case I haven't made myself clear..." I said walking closer to whisper in her ear "I am not the timid girl you grew up with and I will not watch as you try to make my life miserable" I whispered
"So if you try and push me...I'll push back...but the consequences of making me angry..." I said glancing at her terrified face
This made me chuckle darkly "I'll leave it at that so you can think about the consequences of trying to get into my normal life" I said whispering then walked away
Noah's pov
I saw my fiancé Julia head to the garden like before and I followed after her as I did when we first met about a few weeks ago
I saw her looking up at the sky and I walked closer to her grasping her hand as it surprised her "oh Noah you shouldn't startle me like that" Julia said
"I didn't know you could frighten so easily" I said as I stood beside her "You look gloomy kitten what's on your mind" I said
"Just not used to so many people and crowds are..." Julia rubbed her brows tiredly "tiring" I said "it's strange how you knew what I was going to say" Julia said
"Are you fine staying in the garden for a bit I have something to give to you...I'll be right back" I said as I walked away to get her gift
3rd person pov
Julia smiled as he left then heard something in the bushes and she frowned "I wonder what could possibly be hiding in the bushes" Julia said crossing her arms
Then someone came behind her putting a rag over her mouth causing Julia to drop her goddess pendant on the ground
When Noah got back he found Julia's pendant on the ground and he picked it up "she never takes this off" Noah said as he clenched his fists
"So I see...someone kidnapped her" Noah said with gritted teeth then her pendant started glowing with surprised the duke and a light pointed him in the direction where she was kidnapped
Noah was astonished he should have figured that something like the pendant she wore around her neck was for her own protection "Julia I'm coming to save you" Noah said
Meanwhile at a shed...
"Wake up" Erica said splashing water on Julia's face Julia woke up and glared at her fake family "why did you bring me here" Julia said chained to the wall
"Isn't it obvious you don't deserve to live a happy life only I deserve the best so... I'm not letting you out alive" Erica said as Julia saw a familiar figure behind Erica
The figure put a finger to her lips and Julia acknowledged the figure then Julia scoffed and started laughing "what why are you laughing have you finally lost your mind..." Erica said
"Not quite..." Julia said as Olette appeared and put a crystal dagger to Erica's neck "now you listen here" Olette said in a dark tone

"Your going to let Julia go nice and slowly if you don't I'll slice this dagger on your neck and you won't get a chance of reincarnation" Olette said
Erica gulped and let Julia out "good" Olette said Then knocked Erica on the back of the head causing her to black out unconscious
Olette made the crystal dagger disappear and walked towards Julia "hey there stranger you looked like you could use some help" Olette said with a wink
"Yeah I could" Julia said as she grabbed Olette's hand as she was helped up from the ground "what brought you here" Julia said looking at Olette curiously
