'I can't believe my soulmate is actually Noah Voltaire Wynknight a character in my all time favorite novel' these were the thoughts going through Julia's head

Julia pulled her head out of Noah's grip "excuse me my lord I should get going my family will be looking for me" Julia said

'actually they could probably care less' she thought to herself walking away 'but I do need to be careful in the novel duke Wynknight is known to be a crafty person' Julia thought to herself

'I can't let my guard down around him again no matter what' Julia thought to herself as Noah watched her walk away he looked at his hand and smiled to himself

"she was rather cute yet I can tell she's keeping secrets to herself" Noah said as he saw her disappear from the garden 'I can't wait to unlock all her mysteries' Noah thought to himself

Julia's pov

I got backto find out the twilight family carriage was gone 'is this the sort of abuse Olette went through when she transmigrated into that otome game' I thought to myself

"How am I going to get home now" I whispered under my breath "is something wrong" a cruel voice said 'ah I almost forgot the villainess herself' I thought to myself as I looked to the side

'Vivian Shamal the classic villainess she's obviously head over heels for Noah but he showed no interest in her' I thought to myself

"it seems your carriage has left you here if tell you what if you get down on your knees and bow before me I would consider giving you a ride home in my carriage" Vivian said

'Not on your life' I thought to myself as I answered "as lovely as that sounds getting a ride from the one and only lady Vivian shamal I'm going to decline" I said

"You wouldn't dare decline me would you..." Vivian said only to realize what I said "you said what" Vivian said with a menacing glare

'She's not that threatening to me especially since I'm a goddess and she's not' I thought to myself "I'll find my own way home thank you" I said

'After all I don't want to be insulted by the likes of you' I thought to myself "Excuse me" a familiar voice said making me turn around

I saw Noah behind me 'Noah why is he here why isn't he inside attending to the ball...' I thought to myself "I couldn't help but overhear your dilemma" Noah said

Vivian was furious "would you mind taking a Carriage with me I'll take you home" Noah said "th...that's very kind of you duke Wynknight but..." before I could say anything else

"I insist" Noah said with a soft coaxing tone of voice 'why is he acting so gentle with me "very well...I am honored to be in your presence" I said with a small bow

In the carriage...

'I know he invited me to join him but...' I thought to myself as I glanced at him 'did he have to sit so close to me I can practically feel him breathing down my neck' I thought to myself

Noah's pov

She's avoiding my gaze "is there a reason your not looking at me" I said "I must not stare at one such as yourself lest I want to blind myself by the sun" she said then covered her mouth and blushed at her own words

I smiled in amusement "hm so your saying I'm so blindingly attractive that you can't look at me like the sun" I said looking at her blushing face

"T..that's....that's not what I was implying...your so mean putting words in my mouth" Julia said looking out the window of the carriage

"Why won't you look me in the eye" I said whispering in her ear making her shudder this reaction made me smile 'she's so adorable' I thought to myself

3rd person pov

'Why is he sitting even closer to me' Julia thought to herself "I wouldn't dare look upon you lest I receive some..." Julia got lost in his gaze as he looked at her

Noah smiled gently and moved her bangs out of her face to see her golden brown eyes "Lest you receive some what..." Noah said teasingly

Julia clears her throat "it's...time for us to part ways...duke Wynknight" Julia said spotting her house Noah narrowed his gaze when he spotted a bruise on her wrist

Noah grabbed her wrist "wait..." Noah said exiting the carriage as well "shall I accompany you inside" Noah said softly "n.no I'm fine thank you" Julia said flustered

Noah thought she was too scared to say anything about the obvious abuse she was receiving but Julia just didn't want him to keep clinging to her wrist

"Very well...good night miss Twilight" Noah said "good night duke Wynknight" Julia said but he kissed her knuckles once again then pulled away

"Have pleasant dreams" Noah said with a gentle smile "you as well" Julia said surprising Noah as she walked into the mansion

Noah broke off his gentle smile when he narrowed his eyes remembering the bruise he saw on her wrist 'how dare they harm such a beauty' he thought to himself

At Noah's mansion...

"Give me information about miss Julia Annette Twilight" Noah said to his butler "very well sir" the butler said as Noah sat at his desk

The butler came back with the information "This is all the information you could find on her" Noah said looking up at his butler with disappointment

"There's not much to be known about miss Twilight from what I heard she spends most of her days reading books in the library" the butler said making Noah think

'So she likes to read...how cute' Noah thought to himself "I want to lead the twilight family to ruin" Noah said shocking the butler 'if I could get her away from that family I'll have her all to myself'
