Tessa has spent a long time trying to figure out what she should do and while it seemed like it would be straightforward, that was just simply not the case. Her father was difficult to even communicate with and she wasn't going to take hearing about how it was for the good of the company.
Tessa looked around as she'd calmed herself down by venting which left most computers in the room damaged. Probably wasn't the best way to vent her anger but hey she didn't exactly have someone to talk to.
Tessa took off her communicator and placed it on the table, entering in the emergency number for her father. She'd never done it before but hey maybe he's confused her for an investor or something. Tessa saw the message that the caller would pick up soon which only left her to sigh and lean against the table.
Tessa: I really hate this damn company.
Tessa went to inspecting her weapons as she was sure it'd be a while for her dad to actually pick up and after seeing that her gun and sword were fine it was then that she noticed something off. The room was relatively dark, but lights were still on in the hallway, but it's gotten darker in this room which meant that something was blocking it. Tessa turned her head to the doorway and was met with a sight that she found unfamiliar and frightening. A drone with a red visor was blocking the doorway and while the frame of it was similar to a Disassembly Drone the rest of it was completely different from what she was used to.
Tessa brought up her gun and pointed it at the drone not wanting to take a risk if this was something sent from the rival company.
Tessa: Identify or I'll shoot!
The drone seemed a bit surprised by the demand but immediately seemed to understand the order.
???: DD4-GTDUHL
Tessa: What?
???: Do you need me to repeat ma'am.
Tessa could already tell that this drone was a gen 4 Disassembly Drone, but the naming convention made no sense to her. That and he had an Irish accent which was something she hadn't heard in a long time.
Tessa: No, it's just- do you want me to give you a nickname or something?
Dullahan: Oh no need ma'am. My boss calls me Dullahan though I don't think it's for the right reasons.
Tessa: Alright Dullahan. Why are you standing there?
Dullahan: You seemed busy with venting, and I remember that humans shouldn't be interrupted. That and you were a bit busy slicing a computer in half.
Tessa just nodded while the Disassembly Drone seemed to be respectful which was surprising as she'd heard from the engineers that worked on them that they were a bit "problematic".
Tessa: Well thanks Dulla.
The Disassembly Drone continued to look at her and well her dad was clearly taking her time so she could use this opportunity to actually talk with him.
Tessa: So, Dulla. I mean Dullahan. You don't mind if I call you Dulla, do you?
Dullahan: I don't mind at all ma'am.
Tessa: Well Dulla I assume you're here alone so where is the rest of your squad?
Dullahan: Hades is out at the moment, but I assure you that-
Dullahan was cut off as another drone grabbed him and turned him around.
Dullahan: Hades- I mean sir. I didn't know-
