CHAPTER 7

Jiyeon helped Yunho packed his bag to kindergarten tomorrow. He will start his first day at the new kindergarten.

"All done baby?"

"Not yet."

"I thought we already settled everything. We put everything you need right?"

"My Spideyho all is left."

"Spideyho? What is that?"

"This! Spiderman figure you bought me." Yunho showed that figure excitedly at Jiyeon making her laugh.

"You name it?"

"Yes. I want to bring him together to kindergarten tomorrow."

"Okay, put it in your bag."

Yunho put Spideyho into his bag and zipped it up again.

"Now, let's sleep. You have to get up early tomorrow."

Yunho climbed onto his bed and laid down.

"Mama."

"Yes, baby?" She sat next to Yunho.

"Are you sending me to kindergarten tomorrow?"

"Of course. It's your first day, I mean it's my first day send my son to kindergarten. I will not miss that precious moment."

"Yeay, I love you mama."

"I love you too hun. Now close your eyes." She tucked him to sleep and kissed his forehead before leaving his room.

Jiyeon woke up earlier than usual. She wants to cook a lunchbox for Yunho for his first day of kindergarten. She prepared brown rice with sunny-side up fried egg and chicken sausage. She also put broccoli, baby carrots and strawberries. Yunho is not a picky eater so it's easy to prepare food for him. He ate everything. Jiyeon also gave Yunho gummy bears, cheese sticks and apple juice.

She then prepared breakfast for three of them. Her maid only comes when she needs. She's a private person, so she doesn't really like to have people around her all the time except for Hongjoong. For his case, she has no choice.

She made toast with nutella hazelnut spread and also strawberries. She prepared almond milk for Yunho while coffee for her and Hongjoong. After serving everything, she went to Yunho's room to wake him up to get ready for kindergarten.

"Yunho. Wake up hun, you need to get ready for kindergarten." Jiyeon caressed his hair softly.

Yunho opened his eyes immediately after hearing his mom's voice.

"Wake up, let's go take a shower."

Yunho got up and out of bed. He made his bed before taking a towel to take a shower. He's as independent as he said. He can do everything by himself. After Yunho went to the bathroom to take a shower, Jiyeon opened his wardrobe and took out clothes for him to wear to kindergarten. She put it on the bed together with his backpack. She then went out to her room to get her ready. She just needs to change her clothes since she will go straight to the office after dropping off Yunho. She took her things after doing her hair and went downstairs again.

"Mama." Yunho called her when she was about to step down the stairs.

"Are you done baby?"

"Yes." Yunho is ready with his clothes and his backpack on his back.

"Let's go, breakfast." Jiyeon reached out her hand to Yunho and he held it. They walked together to the dining table.

Yunho put his backpack aside and sat in front of his breakfast. After he took his first bite, Hongjoong arrived at the dining table.

"Good morning uncle."

"Good morning, buddy. Are you ready for your kindergarten?"

Yunho nodded while chewing his toast.

"Sit down, I've already made breakfast."

"Woahhhh thank you." Hongjoong sat as he said so.

They then focused on their breakfast and talked a little when Yunho said something.

"Okay, let's go. Take your bag and this is your lunchbox, eat this later." Jiyeon showed Yunho his lunchbox bag, of course Spiderman.

"Did you put in my Spiderman water bottle?"

"Oh, I forgot that. Do you want me to fill your water bottle with plain water?"

"Yes mama."

"Okay wait, I'll put your water bottle in this bag. Go put on your shoes first and wait outside."

Yunho nodded and did what his mom told him.

They arrived at Yunho's kindergarten after 15 minutes. Jiyeon chose a kindergarten that was close to her home and also her office. So, the kindergarten is located 15 minutes from home and 15 minutes from the office. In conclusion, it is located in the middle of home and office.

"Okay hun, enjoy your first day. Be a good boy and never fight with your friends. One more thing, listen to your teacher well. Don't forget to eat your lunchbox and-"

"Mama, I'm big already." Yunho chuckled.

"I know you're older but I just want to make sure everything."

"Okay mama, I will remember everything you told me."

"Good boy. Go in now. Uncle Hongjoong will pick you up later." Jiyeon patted his head and bent down to kiss his forehead.

"Bye mom." Yunho kissed his mom's cheek and stepped into his new kindergarten.

When the glimpse of Yunho disappeared from Jiyeon's sight, she walked into her car. Her car drove down to her office by Hongjoong.

Hongjoong left Yunho with the maid at home to pick up Jiyeon at the office. They got back home after 30 minutes. Jiyeon's return was greeted by Yunho in the living room who was watching the SpongeBob SquarePants.

"Mama!"

"Hi baby. How's your day today?"

"It's so fun. I made new friends."

"Told you, you will make new friends."

"I can't wait to go tomorrow."

Jiyeon smiled and patted his head. "I'm going to take a shower first."
