CHAPTER 3

Jiyeon and Hongjoong went back home after work. As they entered her house, they noticed Hongjoong's luggage was no longer in the living room.

"I bet the housekeeper already put your luggage in your room. Let me show your room."

Hongjoong just followed Jiyeon to his new room. She opened the door and everything was already arranged. It's black and white theme.

"Here."

"Thank you, miss."

"Hmm. I went to my room first. I will order dinner later."

Hongjoong nodded and she walked to her room. After 30 minutes, she came out again with the phone in hand. Hongjoong was still in his new room, packing his things. Without knocking first, Jiyeon opened the door to his room.

Hongjoong just in his shorts, just finished with shower. He startled when Jiyeon suddenly entered the room. But he also did not cover his exposed body. Jiyeon doesn't care about him being half naked, she sits on his bed.

"I want to order food, what do you want?"

"Anything will be okay for me."

"Then I will order baked mac and cheese."

"Okay."

"Okay then." Jiyeon got up and wanted to leave the room.

"Err- by the way, how I gonna pay for you?" Hongjoong's voice stopped her.

She raised one of her eyebrows. "What do you mean? Pay what?"

"Pay for this food."

"Are you kidding me? No need to pay. It's just a food, not a sports car."

"But-"

"No but. You can use and eat whatever you want in this house. It's yours too since you already live here, in this house."

"I got it."

"I go out first."

Hongjoong put on his clothes and continued to pack the remaining things. After that, he got out of his room, headed to the living room. Jiyeon sat there, watching a movie while waiting for the ordered dinner. Hongjoong sat on the couch to Jiyeon's left.

Not even a few seconds later, the doorbell rang. Jiyeon looked at Hongjoong. She knew their food had already arrived.

"Let me go check it." Hongjoong seems to know that Jiyeon wants him to go.

Hongjoong returned with a plastic bag containing food.

"Our foods have arrived."

Hongjoong then headed to the kitchen. Jiyeon turned off the TV and headed to the same place.

"Go sit first, I'll bring it later."

Jiyeon followed Hongjoong's instructions and sat down at the dining table. Less than 5 minutes later, Hongjoong came to bring their dinner to the dining table. He placed one in front of Jiyeon. Without wasting time, she took a fork and ate her baked mac and cheese. Hongjoong also did the same.

After they finished their dinner, they continued watching movies in the living room. Jiyeon forces Hongjoong to accompany her. And when that movie ended, they went into their respective rooms, ready to sleep.

Finally after a busy week, the weekend was here. Jiyeon went to her parents' house, of course with Hongjoong. That guy followed her everywhere this one week except her room and of course when she went to the toilet.

"Jiyeon, you're here." Her mom greeted her as she and Hongjoong entered the living room.

"Yeah." She plopped down on the couch. Hongjoong stood next to her.

"Sit down, Hongjoong." Mrs. Aera, Jiyeon's mom said.

"It's okay, ma'am."

"Just sit." Jiyeon pulled his hand strong to make him sit.

Her mom chuckled at them. Hongjoong glanced at her and she just ignored him. Then her dad came, sat next to her mom.

"Jiyeon, we think you can already get married."

Jiyeon's eyes widened at that. "What are you talking about, dad? Nonsense."

"I'm not joking. We are getting older and we want to feel having grandchildren before we close our eyes forever."

"Dad, don't say like that. Well- I guess I'm still young. I'm just 25 years old. I'm is still young to get married and have children. So, it's not weird that I'm still not married. And also I have a lot of work to do at the office."

"You work too hard, Jiyeon. If you want, we can find a husband for you."

"No dad. I don't want it. Actually, I never want to get married, get pregnant and give birth."

"Jiyeon, stop all this nonsense."

"If you still insist on having grandchildren, I'm thinking of adopting a child. That's what I've been thinking all this time, so I guess it's time."

"We want you to get married."

"But I don't want and I'm not interested. You can't force me. I already agree with you to have a bodyguard."

Hongjoong just listened to the family's conversation.

"Okay then. I agree if you want to adopt a child. Maybe one day you will change your mind." Her father said.

"I don't think so."

"Don't talk to me back."
