Lost in Love

Darkness and cold
In the forest all alone
Nowhere to call home
Lost and so I roam

The wind in the trees
I feel the breeze
I begin to freeze
And fall to my knees

A winding dirt path
Feels my wrath
I need a warm bath
I fell on a lath

I wake up to the light
Shining so bright
It's no longer night
I'll be alright

I go on my way
It takes me all day
But to my dismay
All I find is a bay

I lift up my head
I'll find a boat instead
I wish i had bread
Or was laying in a bed

My feet hurt real bad
Its making me mad
Here I stand
No food to be had

My stomach now rumbles
My sanity crumbles
On the ground I fumble
This really has made me humble

A rustle of leaves
A deep sigh I heave
Towards the sound I weave
About these sounds I am naive

A stranger appeared in front of me
"Come along now, to the edge of the sea"
I grinned ear to ear, a grin of glee
I gave her my hand and followed she

Through the forest to her house
In the wind blew her flowing blouse
We got there by nightfall quiet as a mouse
She got down on a knee and asked to be my spouse

I knew her before, or so I thought
What i didn't see before was that she's really hot
In that moment I knew not
Except my love for her, I took my shot
