Beauty in All

The beauty we share
Is more than meets the eye
Yet no one seems to care
About the beauty within us all

Every living thing
Whether animal or plant
Is beautiful in its own way
And beauty by nature is enhanced

The wind rustling leaves
On the ground in autumn
Strolling around as you please
Not even paying attention

The song of the breeze
Blowing through your hair
Waves to you and says hello
But you just see frigid air

The sun shines bright
You see that as beauty
Yet the darkness of night
Is the majority of space

All bodies have beauty
Whether skinny or fat
But no one else really
Seems to notice that

The flowers in the wind
Lose their petals in late fall
Their beauty "comes to an end"
But they still have it inside

The snow glistening on the ground
Gets dirty as time goes by
Yet underneath it still looks nice
But you only look at what's seen by the sky

There's beauty in us all
You just have to look
Beneath the surface of the call
Of society's harsh reality
