Not always

Hidden in the air
Is a breeze that you feel.
You cannot see it
But you know it is real.
Or beneath the ground
Underneath your feet,
There's a lonely spring
That feeds the bubbling creek.

Or maybe like an atom
So small to the naked eye
And yet we know it's there.
We know that you and I
Have a consciousness inside
That no one can see
And yet it tells us what to do
So we can keep the peace.

So what's the point of this?
What's the point in this piece of rhyme?
What is real can't always
Be seen all the time.
Believe in what's real,
In all that can be.
Sometimes what's real
Is something you can't see.

And sometimes what you see
Is not always true
You can see white and gold
While I see black and blue.
Or you see someone pick their nose
But they say otherwise
They were just itching the top!
Believe them, ok guys?

Ears can go silent
Eyes can lie and deceive
Sometimes you don't see it
But you gotta believe
