Abandoned

Similar to people
Every building has its glory days
Yet some are abandoned
And gain a misty haze

Even those abandoned
Full of cracks and mice
May just need someone
Who is kind and nice

With abandoned houses
All they truly are
Is a place that no one cares about
That somehow shines under the stars

Sometimes abandoned places
Just need someone to care
Someone to show attention
For it to not be compared

Abandoned house
Abandoned human
They're the same thing
All over again

Just like houses
People need love and care
They need attention from someone
Whom their secrets they can share
