On the next day, everyone was invited to Chandrakanta's house (Only those were invited who were close to Chandrakanta's family) to bless them with a prosperous life in the new home.
Drupad Chauhan, Basanti's father attended and Basanti couldn't attend due to some work. Many families also attended to congratulate them.
Shyamala asks Chandrakanta to greet Drupad and she does so. In return, Drupad gives her a small knife as a gift and whispers to Chandrakanta to come to him if she ever gets in trouble and she needs help, especially from her mother. She heard it but kept quite.
Shyamala asks Chandrakanta to go inside and sit with Sharda, her cousin. Chandrakanta leaves when Drupad says that Shyamala shouldn't make everyone in her family to follow the rules. He also says that Prithvi Vallabh is very cunning, to divert the topic.
Just then, Prithvi Vallabh comes to that house and greets them. He says that he isn't like that. He just visited their house as Indrajeet, the eldest son of Balakumaran is his junior and his teacher always praises him. So he wanted to see his junior.
Balakumaran replies that Indrajeet is not at home when Prithvi says that seeing his father is also worth it as he is somewhere like his father. So Prithvi Vallabh gets permission and he leaves inside.
On the other hand, Sugandha Das comes along with Maya Ahluwalia, cousin of Tej Ahluwalia and greets Lakshmi Wadiyar, Chandrakanta's grandmother.
Sugandha then says that she doesn't want to come at first but she has no other choice as she was bored. Lakshmi felt it like an insult but then she asked Sharda to take care of the guests. Sharda showed Sugandha and Maya their seats which were beside Chandrakanta and Sharda.
Chandrakanta was silently eating when Maya tells Sugandha that the one sitting beside them is none other than Chandrakanta who was kept locked all the time and she never met anyone outside as she was rude and unruly.
Sharda tells them that it was her mother's fault as she never taught Chandrakanta proper manners. Chandrakanta asks Sharda to be her witness as she didn't do anything that makes to disrespect them and they were being rude by humiliating her.
Sugandha then diverts the topic saying that she came to see Prithvi Vallabh and just then he comes and greets Lakshmi Wadiyar. Chandrakanta turned her face, Prithvi vallabh saw her and then she left from there being bored. She was sitting in the swing she made and Prithvi Vallabh comes there.
'Choti kumari, kaise hai aap..?' Prithvi Vallabh asks her.
'Aap..?' She says and stops the swing.
'Kya hua..? Kya aap mere upasthiti (presence) se prasnn nahi hai..?' Prithvi Vallabh asks.
'Hume garv hai aap upasthit hue.. Mere pita aur bhai dono vishal kaksh (hall) mei hai.. Aap unse bet kar sakte hai..' Chandrakanta stood up and said.
'Kintu mai aapke liye aaya hu..' Prithvi Vallabh said.
'Maine keval aapka gend (ball) uthaya aur use maine vaapis lauta bhi diya.. Aapko yeh sab karne ki avasyaktha (zaroorat) nahi hai..' Chandrakanta said and was about to leave when he blocks her way.
'Aap apna vidai le rahi hai..? Kya Wadiyar pariwaar mei athityon ke saath is prakar rukha vyavhaar (rude behaviour) karte hai..?' Prithvi Vallabh asks.
'Hum dono ek dusre se parichit nahi hai.. Aapka aur hamare pariwaar ka dur dur tak koi samband nahi hai.. Aap phir bhi hume is prakar rok rahe hai.. Kya rukha vyavhaar ise nahi kehte..? Seede mudde pe aaiye (Come to the point)..' Chandrakanta asks.
'Uchit hai, tho mai mudde pe aata hu.. Choti kumari aapko apni choti chachi tak ek sandesh pahunchana hai..' Prithvi says.
'Aap swayam unse bet karke unhe sandesh de sakte hai.. Itna lamba raasta kyun chun rahe hai aap..?' Chandrakanta asks.
'Mere paas apne kaaran hai aisa na karne ke liye.. Isliye mere paas aapko pareshaan karne ke athirikt (alawa) koi aur raasta nahi hai..' Prithvi said.
'Vaise tho badi baat nahi hai paranthu..' Prithvi said.
'Seegr kijiye..' Chandrakanta said cutting him.
'Aapne maan liya..?' Prithvi Vallabh asks.
'Aap keval hume sandesh bataiye..' Chandrakanta said.
*PRITHVI VALLABH SAYS A POEM WHILE CHANDRAKANTA STARES AT HIM BLANKLY*
'Choti kumari.. Kya hua aap aise maun kyun ho..?' Prithvi asks.
'Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aaya.. Mujhe ek sabdh bhi samajh nahi aaya jo aapne kaha..' She says.
'Kya aap nirarthak vachan (nonsense) nikaal sakte hai..?' Chandrakanta asks.
'Vo nirarthak (nonsense) nahi hai.. Vo kavita hai..' Prithvi says.
'Tho aap nirarthak kavita ko ek vakya (sentence) mei bataiye.. Mujhe utna hi smaran hoga..' Chandrkanta said.
'Uchit hai.. Aap unse keval itna kahiye ki unka purana mitr (old friend) unhe yaad (miss) kar raha hai aur vo ek chota sambashan (conversation) karna chachte hai..' Prithvi vallabh said and he was about to say more when Chandrakanta said that she understood and she left from there while he looked at her.
'Mujhe pura nischay (sure) hai ki unhe kuch bhi smaran (remember) nahi rahega..' Prithvi says to himself. Chandrakanta comes to the dining room where she was sitting earlier. She asks Shrada about the poem.
Later they receive an invitation saying that they are invited to Princess Jaganmohini's bithday. Only one was invited but they didn't mentioned about whom they invited. So Chandrakanta and Sharda left to pick a birthday gift for Princess Jaganmohini.
Chandrakanta thanks Sharda as Shyamala allowed her outside for the first time. She also says that Sugandha Das invited Sharda, so they can go out and have fun.
On the other hand, Virendra was investigating the case at Vyom jalpangruh. He called Vyom, the owner and investigated him about where did he buy the lanterns from. He replied that he brought them from a market place and some of the lanterns belong to his customers, so Virendra let him go.
Das, Nakush were close and Nakush says that the lanterns are different from Prince Siddhsen's. All the lanterns were burnt in the fire the previous day leaving no clue. Virendra says that Prince Siddhsen made efforts to not to leave any clue.
Virendra then asks Nakush what he found about the expenditures of Prince Siddhsen from the past 6 months..?
Nakush informs that Prince Siddhsen was broke for the first 6 months and then he started living an extravagant life for the next 6 months.
Virendra asked whether Prince Siddhsen owns any business, Nakush replies that he does but it's not his cup of tea. At first, he wanted to sell all his shops and after he did so, he had money to even open new shops.
Das then says that Achyuta, Lakshmi's younger brother did business with Kaalbelu, a blacksmith for sometime and Kaalbelu is supported by Prince Siddhsen but no one will believe that Prince Siddhsen were not upright people.
Virendra then orders Nakush to send someone to make trouble at Siddhsen's shops. People who live an extravagant life can't endure poverty, so Siddhsen will definitely take some risk and try to contact his new dealer and they can have a chance to capture the mastermind behind the arnament embezzlement.
